My game doesn't quit!

The game runs good after I used the commandline thing (even though it stucks for seconds from time to time) but that's not the big problem, my problem is when I want to exit the game I go to the main menu to exit the game, after clicking exit it's only BLACK SCREEN and never comes back to desktop and I have to ALT-CTR-DELETE or even restart the PC sometimes.

 

 

can you help me with this ?

Try adding game executables to dep exclusion list (my computer > properties > advanced system settings > advanced tab > performance settings > data execution prevention tab > the second option then add)

and about the executable thing, should I ADD "GTA IV Launcher" to that list ?

Add everything, it can't hurt to try.

 

Also, you can try reinstalling GFWL update, sometimes it causes such problems.

But I have that patch where you don't even need GFWL to play/save game.

This was included in the official 1.0.7.0 patch I told you about.
