UPS 119 Euros Pacakge

Got this email from someone in spain claiming to have a package for me. They then ask me for 119 euros to get the package delivered. Of course this is a scam but ill post the email for you guys to read

I don't get these spam emails. I really don't. Do they seriously think people are going to fall for them? Aside from the usually horrible spelling and grammar, they usually have stupid email addresses like this

i get them all the time, i got one email from "the FBI department of cyber crimes", saying i have been implicated in a possible terrorist action and i need to give them my SS# and personal info to clear myself of any wrong doing. if i do not comply they will be forced to take further action. i even got a letter once from someone claiming to be BMG Music Group saying i won a $150,000 sweepstakes. accompanying the letter was a check for $3500, the letter further reads the check is to cover the taxes on the 150 grand. all i had to do was cash the check for 3500 send it to them and they would forward the 150 grand... of course the check would never actually clear and i would get stuck paying the $3500 back to the bank.

Sad thing is, people do fall for them. The emails are free to send, so they can send tens of thousands a week - only needs a couple of people to get suckered in. Law of averages, someone eventually will.

 

I've never had one - I'd love to have a go at engaging with some of these people and see what I could get out of them, like this guy.
