I've gone for WAW, its a such an underrated game. In my opinion it had the best atmosphere out of all of the CoD's set in WWII and the Nazi Zombies kept me entertained for hours.

CoD. Simply because It was really great for its time. I logged 200+ hours on Multiplayer (and that was just after I had Xfire), had some great times with clans and scrims and what not. Not to mention it was also one of (if not, the first) game that got me into PC Gaming.

My favorite is Call Of Duty 4 Modern Warfare, but I love World At War too!!!

Definitely CoD3, out of all the CoDs I've played it's the only one that can stand on it's single player merits alone and that's enough to shoot it to the top of my list of favorites.

Call of 2 and 3 and Black Ops. I dislike(some would say hate) MW and MW2 though.

Haven't played Black Ops but i voted for COD 4.

 

I liked the first game but didn't care much for any of the others until MW1. COD 3 was garbage imo. I really liked WaW, and I still play MW2 online the most but I enjoyed the single player of MW1 the best.

Call Of Duty 2 for me, it was the first one I played and just instantly loved the games, the campaign was so good and managed to keep me excited, I never got bored of playing it as I never played the MP really.

Call of Duty 4. Best single player and best multiplayer.

the original Call of Duty, with United Offensive. I've stated why this is the best many times. The single player is amazing, from start to finish. The multiplayer is engrossing, and intense. There's nothing like having a packed server on a map like foy, where there are huge tank assaults and artillery strikes.

Either 2 or 4.. which are actually the only cods I've actually played, unless you count 1 hour of mw2 on the ps3.

Oh come on. It could be the story for Michael Bay's Transformers if you reposition some scenes and edit a few bits and pieces. It was a stupid, predictable popcorn-story.

 

All Ghillied Up was sweet, though.

Yeah I agree with you on that one, All Ghillied Up was a great mission. I would say It was the best mission on the game.

Where's United Offensive? Oh wait yes, it's all about the crappy storylines, uninteresting characters and overly fast paced and 'rage at overly balanced multiplayer weaponry' multiplayer.

 

Not that I don't enjoy/play the latest CoD games. But they do not even come close to the original two games.
