Wow! I'm amazed by the amount of work you've put into this! How long did it actually take you to put all this together?? The map looks fantastic and the locations you have hold great potential. I'm greatly interested to see where you go with this. And your music selections are brilliant. What an excellent range of genres, I don't think I've ever seen some of them posted here before.

 

As you say yourself the topic could do with a bit of formatting and I think some graphics, such as headers, could greatly improve the appearance of your concept. The guys over at the GFX section could sort you out nicely. If you would like some tables for the vehicles and weapons so they don't look all listy I'll happily PM you the codes for the ones I have and you can chop and change them for your different criteria as you please.

Holy cow, this is a massive game, and obviously a lot of work went into this, i still can't believe how many weapons and cars there are, wow!

If you have anything you want changed about gameplay, make a header and add it in!

Thank you! I'm a little bit unfamiliar with how all the information gets exchanged here. i have been on this site from roughly..i think 2006, origionally anticipating the release of GTA:4. I've taken in a massive ammount of learning from other threads on here, and probably early 2009 i began to develop my own idea that i thought would work. I thought it was time to go to the mid-west, and this is where it took me. of course, its been on hold from time to time for quite a while, so it hasnt really been as long as it seamed, but it was time to get the thing up here, formatting or no formatting lol...but yeah, go ahead and pm me and i will try to get this stuff looking a little better.

A great effort, but something needs to be done with the format. Why not try using tables rather the having longs list. It would then look better presented and that will help get you more replies.

Looks pretty good so far. However, black people absolutely NEVER refer to themselves as "ni**ers". Not in gangs, not in movies, nothing. The word "ni**er" is an insult to black people. Seeing as you're from America I would have thought you to know that. Other than that, it looks good.

Oh there are parachutes and planes my friend, i haven't yet finished the modes of transportation, which doesn't only include cars. as in depth as what i have there, trust me, the total count is over 300 so you should not be disappointed

thanks a lot tyla, you know i couldn't have done this w/out you. i am planning on writing missions, actually i have several of the beginner stage missions written but they are on my other computer that is 3 hours away! i could probably start re writing from memory. we'll see how ambitious i feel tomorrow lol

so basically i should just rename them and have the same character by a different name with the same basic stuff? idk, and why is lazlow in the four series then? does that mean that everything he did in three was non existent, so he was never in vice city or san andreas? idk...there seams to be a lot of holes in this whole thing....

Saying that a person was referenced, like the OG Loc CD, well. It's just a reference. The III era is still over. R* will not go back to old characters, stories, or events. If they wanted to, they would have done so with IV. That doesn't mean they can't reference the III era, but they won't be using it, and they're definitely not merging the two, since that's just silly.

 

Nevertheless, this is a silly argument. If you choose to merge the III era with the IV era, it's really your choice. I'm just telling you that this topic isn't going anywhere. Yes, they basically said that IV's story will have nothing to do with III's.

The III era was one huge interlinking story but now that story is over - it started with the end (III) and finished with the beginning (VCS).

 

However, this doesn't mean that that story never happened, it just means it's finished and isn't directly linked to the new IV story (except for subtle references).

 

I'm not stating this as fact though; Rockstar could turn around any day and say 'it never happened'.

let us not forget that this is NOT the 4 era, it is the 5 era. and even if rockst*r said three and four weren't related, that doesn't mean that three and FIVE can't be related...hahaha technicalities....but seriously dude...so just because i mentioned a COUPLE of previous characters who are VERY dear to me, you think my topic will dry up like the dustbowl? dude, im not doing anything radical here, we're all just ppl doin what we love to do , and you don't like what i got...im sure somebody else will have something u do like...but really, there aint no need to be hatin just over some small references okay?
