All the planning is done and I already have people signed on from other sites. Basically, you send me your character information as per the layout below: Name: Example Class: Example (Choose anything. I'll rate it to see if its appropriate) Level: 1 Experience: 0/87 Physical Stats: 0/0/0/0/0 (45) Weapon Skills: 0/0/0/0/0/0 (30) Note: The Physical Stats are: Strength/Speed/Vitality/Looting Skill/Aim The Weapon Stats are: Melee/Pistols/Shotguns/Light Machineguns (SMGs)/ Heavy Machineguns (Assault Rifles)/Rifles (Snipers). The number in the brackets is how much points you have to put into that range of stats. You can only put 20 points into one weapon stat on the start, the others have to be put into something else. Description: Describe your character. Be realistic. Head: Cowboy Hat Body: White T-Shirt Legs: Blue Jeans Feet: White Sneakers Weapons: Colt Anaconda (.357x6, 41 rounds), Lead Pipe Miscellaneous: 2x Steri Strips, 1x Backpack Perks: None yet. (The full list of perks is on the site) Cash: $0 (Cash is gained through selling items, killing zombies and looting. Current Action: Sitting around, doing nothing. Location: The Eternal Plane. The Z-RPG is governed by me, Cognitive_Profit. But, as this is my PSN, My name on the forum where the RPG will be run is Lettuce. I'm the admin. I've hosted a few of these on other forums and they didn't turn out right because of this. This is my first time running it on a forum I made myself so don't judge the format. I see only 9 people registered on your forum. That's enough? I don't think many people over here are into forum-based RPGs. I searched for Forum RPGs, but the only ones I found were either not in English or on sites which I already had an account on and had already tried. Any suggestions to gather more players? Cognitive_Profit Posted December 10, 2010 Author Share Posted December 10, 2010 Basically, you send me your characters information (Following the template above) and your first action. I either write an update (Basically a short story) of what happened to your character then I update your characters information, like XP and use of items. You can form teams with other people and be helpful OR you could generally be a dick and steal/PvP without consent. I'm unbiased but sometimes a little bit of a dick (well, you have to be running a forum RPG). You should check back on the RPG once or twice a day to check for updates and changes: An example is that I hold a "Fire sale" in the item store and items are 75% off, etc. Any more questions? Hell, I wasn't even expecting this thread to last this long. I thought it would get dumped, but its still here. Right now, I'll take any literate sane person aboard. Girish Posted December 10, 2010 Share Posted December 10, 2010 The reason why most people (including me) would find this boring is because it's text-based. I play Mafia Wars on FB which is something similar, but it's more fun because of it's interactive layout and user-friendly dashboard. You don't have to think a lot or type out anything.
