cody945x
Hey guys, I have a problem in-game. Here are my computer's specs: Manufacturer: MSI Processor: AMD Phenom II X4 945 Processor (4 CPUs), ~3.0GHz Memory: 4096MB RAM Hard Drive: 1 TB Video Card: ATI Radeon HD 5700 Series Speakers (High Definition Audio Device) Speakers/Headphones: Kinyo 1.5 Speakers Keyboard: USB Root Hub Mouse: USB Root Hub Operating System: Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit (6.1, Build 7600) (7600.win7_gdr.100618-1621) Motherboard: MSI 790X-G45 Computer Case: Antec Three Hundred My problem is that that type of spec is supposed to run the game in high graphics at +25 FPS smoothly right? Sadly, my game isn't running as is. There's also another problem, on the health and armor section, there's a cutout on it's edges. Any ideas? Here are the thumbnails: http://i53.tinypic.com/2pru4p4.jpg Notice on the Health and Armor? Also notice, the FPS? http://i56.tinypic.com/wthbuc.jpg That's my ingame settings, sorta. http://i53.tinypic.com/5pgl2.jpg That's my CPU & RAM monitor. CPU on left, RAM on right. So is there anything that will help relieve on my problem? Also, my updates are up to date. Check the CCC, under 3D options make sure under AA its set to use applications settings, morphological filtering is not checked, under AF set it use application settings. Use 10.10e driver, it runs the game extremely smooth for some reason, unlike other releases... cody945x
Haha thanks! I always thought it never worked in games, but it does. So I changed it to what you said, and I did get even better FPS! Thanks! Thanks! Morphological filtering does work in GTA 4, some edges looks much smoother. Problem is, it blurs out a lot of textures and other things, in result sometimes causing the picture quality to be worse than no AA, and big FPS hit.
