It all boils down to what the gamer themselves are after. Most of the people who play on a console aren't looking for the best performance on the market, they most likely want to pick up the game, stick it in their machine and play it. Consoles have simply made this process a lot easier, including online play as well since all you have to do there is click "Find game".

 

I don't get why people have to bitch and moan about their own platform all the time. People spent money on the machine they wanted for different reasons and I'm sure several paragraphs of argument are going to make them sell it and buy something else.

 

People who argue that Xbox or PS3 are "better" than a PC will most likely be talking about the convenience of it and the simplicity of it. Whereas PC gamers will just bitch and moan about how they are superior because they have the best rigs or whatever. No one's denying it, especially when they've got a £1000-2000 hole in their pocket.

 

Not everyone who loves games can afford to get the best PC, hell, the majority of PC gamers, or any gamer for that matter under 21 or so has probably gotten their machine from their parents.

 

Y'all need to stop taking sh*t too seriously and enjoy the games that are being made for you, regardless of HOW you play them

TBH i hate little kids who think that the Xbox 360 or PS3 is better than The PC gaming, I mean ive got nothing against the xbox or ps3 im just saying that for a xbox or ps3 its what £250 but for a top of the range gaming PC its between £1000 - £2000. So tell me how is a £250 Console going to be better than a £1000 - £2000 proper gaming system ?

I'm a console person myself, but I have to agree.

 

I also hate when PC gamers go around calling console games stupid. (Though that assessment is accurate on some people, but those are the ones that get muted/blocked)

 

Both are equally as ignorant, in my honest opinion.

Most of them are stupid. If someone says I can't afford a gaming PC fine. If someone guys I don't want one because they suck and consoles have better graphics they're idiots.

And those are the ones I'm talking about. So go back to your Cheeto's and Mountain Dew.

Around 90% of wii games aren't on PC.

 

in b4 'lol wii has no gaems'. Hell, I'd say 100 but I'm sure there's ONE game that MIGHT be on PC

 

It wasn't until I got a 360 that I realized just how stupid it is to have that and a top of the line PC. So many games on PC as well..

 

Still love my Ridge Racer, though.

When it comes to game types, PC and console seem to work will with certain genres. Shooters probably work better with a mouse, but racers probably feel much more natural with a joystick.
