Ghost glendale fan 4 live
I was wondering, are there any GTA VC ped mods so you can play a pedestrian or a cheat? I would love to play a ped in GTA VC, like the costume cheat for the PS2 version, but a PC mod or something. Would like to be able to choose from all the VC peds to play. And sorry if this is the wrong section, It's not a request just want to know if anyone knows about a mod like that or know how i do it. Frank.s
There might be a ped selector CLEO mod however you could use the STILLLIKEDRESSINGUP pc costume cheat.
_Rob_
Or if your feeling adventurous you could do a quick IMG edit

Ghost glendale fan 4 live
Sorry about bumping and sorry about double posting but I know about the cheat, but there is a CERTAIN ped i want to play as, I have like 1000 times used the cheat and the ped WONT show up. Any help appreciated. and 2# thing, I got myself ImgTool 2.0, and I found a LCS ped pack mod, I did everything i was supposed to do and there always came errors, "Too big" etc, then when i finally replaced the player 8.dff and txd with the skin i wanted it wont show up in-game. Frank.s
When you 'replace' a file in an img, don't use the replace function (not on imgtool2.0 at least). You have to first delete the original files than add the new ones (and rebuild archive every so often too).

Kalvin'
Open up your "gta3.img" and search for the files you want. In this case: player.dff and player.txd, if you are using img tool, i recommend deleting player.dff and .txd, then get the files you want to play as. And rename THEM to player.txd and player.dff, add them in the gta3.img, open up your file (renamed to player.txd) with TXD Workshop, export (extract) the .bmp texture into your skins folder, (in your GTAVC root folder) go ig, go in options on startup, then click player skin setup, select the .bmp you just extracted. Go back, start game, and enjoy your skin/model

Kalvin'
I see, as there is more than 1 .bmp in the .txd, delete all skins in skins folder, and delete player.bmp in models/generic, go ig, when you go to player skin setup, it'll be white. That's normal, click new game, when you spawn. You should have a working skin

Kalvin'
If it's a ped converted to vc, then yes (BTW, you can use the same steps with GTA3, make sure the ped you have downloaded is made for GTA3 first or else it wont work )

DieHrd101
My question on this subject is how to identify the file name of the ped i want to use. SA has a ped editor that helps find the file name with a photo but it doesn't seem to work with gta 3...not sure about vc haven't tried it. How can i identify the file name for the ped i want to use as a skin. I've been randomly extracting them 1 at a time to apply them to player.dff and it's not helping. The first four i tried i've never even seen those peds walking around. Any1 have a guide for gta 3 ped file names...preferably with a photo?
