Constant accusations of cheating on TLAD online

Hi,

 

I am getting rather pi$$ed off. Without sounding too cocky, I am very good at the TLAD online and very rarely do not win a game (you may recognise this username on xbox live). I am however getting really fed up of players accusing me of cheating.

 

The prime culprit is this one idiot I often come across. Now he is a level 10. But there are 2 types of level 10's, those who are really good, and those that simply play it night and day due to their lack of a life so are almost guaranteed to become a high level after a period of time, even if they are not that good. He comes into the latter category.

 

Obviously playing it so much he isnt that bad, but not a 10 standard. Im a level 8. Yet I kick his backside every time we play. He cannot accept this and goes quite literally beserk when I do it, accusing me of cheating. you expect this from less experienced players as they do not know better but you would assume a level 10 would understand how long killng runs are possible (they understand the trick of shooting at the right frequency and where to shoot etc). He however cannot take it.

 

This all started on a team deathmatch about 3 months ago. 20 minute team detah match. About 10 minutes in, I was abou thalf way down the kills (it was my first ever team death match). I then thought ok, stop going for the assault rifles and armour and instead forget those and just get as many kills as I can. My team were grouped together. I decided to stand at the front of the goup. Whilst doing so I got an assault rifle. The map was charge island. Now what happened was with this assault rifle, and standing at the front of the group, the other team kept respawning just in front of me, and I had my aim whilst ducking on each of their heads as they respawned. I then went on some freakish killing run, and beat everyone by a massive margin. He could not believe this was possible. It started from there. At the end of teh match I couldnt believe how he was acting, he was literally going beserk and started crying, calling me a cheat with turbos etc

 

So what is the big issue, just one player right? Well he is always on it, and every time he is in a lobby (which is quite often), he screams at everyone to kick me. And he knows most decent players on there. So they also now all I think I cheat. I am very good at this game, people accuse you of cheating in those circumstances on many games. But this is something else. Very often, when I finally find a good lobby (which is very hard to find lots of good players in one lobby on GTA TLAD) he goes nuts and makes them kick me. Obvioulsy, people see level 10 and kiss his arse, no matter how stupid he acts. and I am ENGLISH. Now my trans atlantic cousins, I do apologize for not being American but there is not much I can do about that, and he thinks that this justifies him basically acting like a c*nt. Rumours spread. Now they mostly think I cheat.

 

What can I do? I love playing this game online. As I said, I am very good at it (I simply do not play it anywhere near enough to be a top ranked player in the world, but kill ratio and win ratio wise, I am up with the very very top players). Being so good can make it look like I cheat if someone is of low intelligence, I always assumed though that better players understood, obviously not!

 

Another example: newbies often drive in cars. If you are any good, they are very very easy to kill. One of his friends tried to run me over (easy kill!) but I moved and then shot his car up, killing him fast (he rammed into a wall and I just kept shooting his head). Then all I get is well you cannot move that quickly form a car, you must be cheating eastwood. FFS!!!!

 

Furthermore, on GTA, I think a tubo joypad (I assume that is what they mean, I was unaware of thier existence until I always got accused!!!) would not help in the slightest. If you are any good, you can fire is quickly as possible anyway. So IMO, a turbo would actually hinder you at GTA, not help. But of course the way of online gamers is that ignorance is bliss.

 

HELP!!! If you ever see EastClintwood81 on GTA TLAD I am a very good but honest player. If I kick your a$$ then it is fair and square and simply good gameplay. I excelled at Godeneye on the n64, and played every decent shooter since then. I am experienced. Accept this!!!! Sorry for sounding a little cocky, but if you have played me you know I often win so am not misleading you. It is just pi$$ing me off now!!!!

btw, I use auto aim. Only after reading this forum yesterday did it occur to me to switch it off. I would hazard a guess that the truely best players have it off. So I am amongst the best out of those who have it switched on. I think im gonna try it without now, will stop the noobs!

You should try playing on PC. Everyone gets called a cheater over there. I am not even all that good and I get it all the time lol.

Really there's nothing you can do. I just make fun of the cheater accuser and ask him how long has he been playing noose to get his 10 star.

Or make remarks about his questionable parentage or his mothers strange sexual habits or some such nonsense.

Yeah sorry if I looked a bit cocky there, I just had to reiterate how often I win the make my point.

 

I hear your captain, problem is that if this were COD it would be very unlikely I would ever see him twice. On TLAD however, you see the same players again and again (auto aim ON).

 

Dunno why I have always use AA, it is just that the 1 player version has always done that so felt natural. I am going to try it without it on. Speaking as someone who has only ever used AA, I think that the standard of players must be higher without it on. Maybe I am not even that good, I just play rubbish players who can only play with it on, and I should've converted to off months ago! May explain why players seem to be so crap. Epithany moment!!!

thats why once my xbox 360 broke, I did not fix it and just stuck to my ps3. If you are the kind of person who needs online friends stick with your 360. I am really enjoying playing without a mic and playing online for free. I can understand the person who likes talking while playing but that is no longer me. If the other players know you have a mic they will say you are cheating. Stick to ps3. Play for yourself dont play for other people.

That is the problem funny guy, if you do it right it takes only 2 or 3 with a pistol yet all the d1ck heads cannot understand that and think that you cheat!!!! lol

very true. This level 10 I mention: I have got onto the mic to explain exactly how I do it, whilst giving away my tactics-still no joy! Personally I think he knows I dont cheat, he is just used to winning amongst his friends then I come along once every few weeks and kick his ass, making him feel embarassed.

 

You guys get it right? Do not hold the trigger, and do not even press it as fast as you can. Aim at the head, and you can kill them with 2 head shots (maybe each shot 1/4 of a second apart, rather than as quick as possible). The better players understand. The idiots think cos they hold the trigger, aim at your body and you are still standing after 10 shots that we must be cheating. FOOLS!

 

And then, cos I dont usually use the mic, that adds to their suspicions, but I just wanna play. Dunno about you guys, but i have enough friends IRL, I do not need cyber friends chatting sh1t, and cussing me cos I 'should be grateful for not speaking German right now'. Obivously they never heard of the battle of Britain, preventing the invasion.

 

Any of you brits here fed up of hearing WW2 lessons online? Yes America, it was an alliance, you wouldnt have won without us either! I need to buy GTA 4 again and just play that.

The one rule I hve though is I don't play Auto Aim, I dont tend to play Tlad either as R* made the fatal error of leaving the exploding round annihilator in the game !! (Hence why I said I would wipe the floor with you ) but seriously if you want a proper match, then I suggest a 1 v 1 on original GTA, weapons powerful, location Bohan, time 20 mins.

 

I promise not to laugh too much when it is you who is 20 kills behind

I recognise your name from somewhere Guv, I may have seen you before. My GTA 4 disc is too scratched to play so I am waiting to get another. Without AA, yes you would kick my arse as I am not used to it, give me a few games though......

I like the same set up as you, except ALL rather than powerful weapons. I love my pistol, underrated weapon!

I will add you, and get a few games in with you (AA Off ), it would be nice to get a few competitive games on Tlad, whenever I search it is always empty ?? maybe something to do with AA ??
