Alright i am looking to get a bunch of new games, so post here your top 10 games on PS3/XBOX360 and if you feel like it add in why you like them and what sort of game it is.

Don't bother putting GTA because i know everyone here loves that game, but post any others, make a list of

3 or more with up to 10 games, if you forgot one please EDIT your post and add it in.

Its hard to put them in order but here is mine.

 

1. Red Dead Redemption - I just finished this last night after just having PS3 for a week and a half. The story alone puts this on my number 1. Memorable characters and a narrative that made me care what happens next (very few games can do that) I was seriously in tears by the end. And thats not counting the awesome gameplay (Dead Eye is sweet) with so much to do from bounties to hunting wildlife (watch out for those cougars!) cattle russtling and horse catching to poker blackjack and Liars dice. AND I haven't even mentioned the multiplayer WHOA.

 

2. Fallout: New Vegas - Nothing is cooler than player choice and this has it all. From the character creation to the dialog options to all the different weapons with modifications and with Ironsights you don't have to rely on VATS anymore (I still love it). Better story and writing from FO3 (IMO) and the factions are great. Its a testament to how great this game that I'm saying all this before I even finish it.

 

3. Mass Effect 1 and 2 - Kinda cheating to add both games but the experience isn't the same without both. I don't think I would have enjoyed 2 as much if I didn't start from the beginning. Great story with wonderful characters and fast paced gameplay from a Bioware game I'm just looking for an excuse to go back to this.

 

4. Batman Arkham Asylum - Whats this? A Batman game that doesn't suck? More than that a Batman game that rules in every way. I can't decide whether I like the fighting or the stealth parts more. Whatever its all great. If I had one complaint the boss battles were pathetic but thats easily forgivable because this delivers in every other way.

 

5. Dead Rising 2 - crazy weapons nuff said

 

6. Left 4 Dead - I'm mostly playing 2 but 1 is still great coop zombie killing at its best.

 

7. Dragon Age - Another Bioware gem on my 3rd playthrough and still loving it.

 

These are what I'm playing and loving not 10 but even I have my limits lol.

- Midnight Club LA.

- MotorStorm.

- MotorStorm Pacific Rift.

- Skate 2.

- Skate 3.

- Heavy Rain.

- Burnout Paradise.

#1: Red Dead Redemption: The Story is one of the best stories I've heard in awhile. Definely A game of the year pick for me. You can just do the main story but the side missions and mini-games will catch your eye and like make you do them mostly. and Online is just.. wow.

 

#2: Fallout 3: Havent played New Vegas Quite yet. buttt im going to soon. for now Fallout 3 and its DLC are very well made.

 

#3: Little Big Planet: This game is actually really fun. Its a nice clean game for the kids. unless you make it Rated M. Don't Believe the Xbox gamers who say "this is gay" Hell. I went to my friends house (Note: they both have xbox's and dont really like the PS3 much) i brought my PS3 and Little Big planet. Thats all they played. My friend austin said "it would be soo cool if they made this for Xbox" So Definely makes my Top 3.

 

#4: Infamous: I almost platinum this and all i have to say is wow. The Comic book style art and story is great and Theirs not alot of main characters (about 6) so they are each well written.

1. Grand Theft Auto IV + EfLC, pretty obvious, but they are probably my favourites.

2. FIFA, best sportsgame around.

3. Assassin's Creed II, haven't picked up Brotherhood yet.

4. Championship Manager 01/02, though if you want a newer version I suggest Football Manager.

5. No One Lives Forever 1 & 2, old school spy game, wonderful.

6. Red Dead Redemption, people have explained it before me.

7. Battlefield, the whole series, but my favourites are 1942 and 2.

8. The Sims? Now it was years since I played that, and I haven't tried 3, but the first ones I used to enjoy.

9. The Godfather, haven't played II, but I loved the feeling of the first one.

10. NFS, I haven't played the recent ones, but it's a good series.

 

Perhaps not all of those are really on my top 10 list, but those were the ones I could figure out now.

3.) Call of Duty: Black Ops (yes, CoD is overhyped/overrated, but this was fantastic)

Since i have a PS3 i was asking about ps3/360 games, since those two share many games, and pc games, i also have a wii but i am not buying any more games for it.

Ratchet & Clank Tools of Destruction (Plattform game. If you like new Plattform games then this is a very good choice)

Quantum of Solace 007 (Actually a really good James Bond FPS game)
