derailing a train?

i wonder if theres any chance of derailing a train with a glitch or s0mething.it will be pretty sweet! Ive seen that if you brake infront of a train it slows it down a bit

Yeah you can but you're gonna need some mods or you can use a cheat

Sadly unlike GTA SA you can't derail trains in IV. The only time a train has derailed in IV was in the mission "No Way On The Subway" in which a train derails on the Algonquin Bridge. It looked very cool.

but with no mods and i remember the one mission on tbogt where you need to steal a train for yusif so i think it is possible but probably very difficult

I don't think you can in IV, but maybe in TBOGT with some sort of glitch, because as you stated, you did it in a mission for Yusuf

i mostly play tbogt .vanilla gta iv is nice and all but i get bord playin it and n0 parachute!thats why i play tbogt m0st of the time

the derailing was a cutscene i think and cutscenes don't exsist( means u cannot do that outside a cutscene)

for the skylift picking up the train, its a script that can be done with nixolas skylift mod or the simple native trainer, with either of them u can spawn a skylift to pick up any vehicles, and yes its for PC only, it can be done on console but i aint telling

i think cutscenes exists because the city behaves like it usualy does out of a cutscene in a cutscene .and your character is is performing a script that doesnt allow you to control it.like when you are walking you are performing a script same when you draw a gun ect.

You can't derail a train in free roam. Only in one mission but you are just stealing one part of the train as apart you wanting to derail the whole thing.

 

And another cut scene when you only destroy. Not derail the train.

 

So, like I said. There's no way to derail a train in free roam. No matter how much sticky bombs you put on it.
