Metro 2033 vs AvP 2010

on steam, I rarely play video games anymore, but they both look like they're fun (I saw them on the steam front page when my little brother was on the computer)

 

The specifications of the computer they would be played on:

BFG GeForce 9500GT 1GB OC

5GB Ram

AMD X2 5200+ 64bit Dual Core

Vista 64bit

 

Which game is funner and a better deal?

Metro 2033 for sure. If you like atmosphere and story.

 

AvP I found was pretty naff. Graphics are alright for a DX11 game.

Metro 2033 was a great game, haven't played much of AvP however because I got bored.

 

 

You should buy both though, you never know if you'll have the urge to play the one you don't end up buying.

I haven't played AvP but Metro is amazing, just you'll have to turn graphics bit off and physx off (not much important really).

Metro 2033 of course. At least it has some unique atmosphere and gameplay.

Yeah you will def need to lower settings for both games, they are fairly demanding for specs like you have but for the price grab them both!
