Mince
I didn't get a picture because the rain melted all the snow, but today I got to drive to school in the snow, and I even got to sit in my class and watch the snow come down! Apparently it wasn't bad enough to cancel school.
Ryder 556
My god. Once again my weather gadget thing says it's Snowing out, for the 5th night in a row. But looking out my window it's clear as night. I think they just lost the texture for normal night so there using the snow one. f*cking cheapskates. And I want more snow. About 3 weeks ago we had around 2-3ft. And then it rained. And now I don't even think the snow in my yard is over 1 ft. I hate rain. Indi, that is the best kinda snow. Blizzards are fun. I just wish I lived farther north.

gtaivpc
f*ck. It was all foggy and rainy and cold this noon and when it cleared up, everything around the town was white except the town itself. This is absolutely f*cking retarded.
Brown Sugar
f*ck yeah, last day of school and it's closed! First time in 26 years at our school; time for some sledging! what the f*ck, you get out of school already, the first day of our holidays is the 24th. It doesn't look like there will be more snow here though, the weather forecast keeps saying it's going to snow but it has only snowed once since last monday and that was only for about 10minutes

Kippers
This is probably the first time i've not wanted any snow. Got back from University for Christmas Holidays today and can't get the train into town to meet everyone at the pub. Yes, I am the only one who lives in the wrong town. 習うより慣れろ

The Guru
They said on the news today that there's 70cm of snow down in Helsinki. Pretty surprised because usually the most snow is up north, not down south. Mark
yeah I got about 8 inches this morning Fixed? @Guru: It's a worthwhile bit of kit I can tell ya. Hoya one only get me back a few quid. Oh, for those trying to take pics in the snow, try get your camera to deliberately over expose. Metering on the camera has a habit of seeing all that snow and thinking the image is way too bright for its chosen settings, hence grey looking snow like in Slingaa's pic. Anywhere between +1 and +2 EV seems to do it for me. Depends what else is in the scene.

Skyline_Mad
Here in the southwest; Plymouth, we hardly ever get snow, even when the rest of the UK is covered, we are always the last to get it, which is annoying. We had a little bit of snow (more than we've had in like 10 years) a few days ago, but nothing like what the rest of the UK has. At the moment we have slush everywhere, which is crap as its too cold and wet, and hard to travel, it was fine when there was actual snow covering the pavements but now its just horrible, And by the looks of it, its not going to be gone by the morning, so riding my bike to work (at 6.30 am) is going to be challenging again (it was fine with snow, but slush is too dangerous and not fun lol), might just walk to work, doesnt matter if i'm late as its the last day of my temp xmas job lol. Hopefully its all melted then dried up by the end of the week, and maybe then we can get some real thick snow for xmas, anymore snow now is just gonna cause more mess. Mark
Hopefully its all melted then dried up by the end of the week, and maybe then we can get some real thick snow for xmas, anymore snow now is just gonna cause more mess.[/color] The big issue is the fact that temperatures aren't due to get anywhere near zero so no melting whatsoever apart from on major roads. Hell, salt starts to become ineffective close to the temperatures we're seeing at night in places. Snowing here again, due to for the next 4-5 hours at least. Bah. Rebel
First snow of this weekend and a little of last week missed Leicester completely Although I have a feeling by tonight or tomorrow onwards were going to get it pretty bad. All we've had to deal with is about -8C or even colder, which isn't to bad until you have no gloves and your using a can of de-icer on the car at 6am. Hoping it doesn't snow to much so I can go to a funeral on Thursday without to much of a hassle. Other than that, not really wishing it would snow for Christmas either since I'll be driving then.
