In my town currentley id say the snow is a bit higher then a half meter. I KNOW It sounds weird. The roads are cleaned up, The bad part is the sides of the road where Pedestrians walk .... Those are blocked and i have to walk on the road. They didnt close the school even if HUGE Ice stuff are hanging of the end of the buildings. Its REALLY Dangerous. The only remaining snow/ice is the big piles of it where road/paths were cleared, and some small side streets haven't completely melted out yet if they're out of the sunlight. But life is pretty much back to normal now, no need for walking boots just to get to the Metro any more. Though it's meant to now heavily eaither tomorrow or at the weekend. I love it when it snows but the aftermath is sh*t. Nothing photo worthy yet, but it is damn treacherous out there since we weren't expecting it and the streets weren't pretreated. They had to kick us off of my trolley coming home because a huge 4 wheel drive pick-up truck slid and crashed into the trolley in front of us. It's like a massive sheet of ice on the roads. It's snowed heavily here for like 20 minutes today but didn't stick. We're supposed to be getting a blizzard coming from the Antarctica tonight that lasts for a few days, oh and it's supposed to be the coldest winter here since '62 when the river Thames froze over.
