Trying to edit a mod...

Hi all, i try'ed yesterday edit a mercedes benz car mod, what was made for GTA IV, and when i try'ed import it with Zmodeler, it didn't work, cause it says something like "File locked" or something like that , so... Any help, to unlock the file/s? And then i could make it, cooler & unique too... With 0.0000000001% Exp from modelling

oh gr8, another damn stealer! can't u stealers don't understand it? we don't want u ffs! and do u know what? many stealers have asked for that kind of program, but u know what? the damn program will never get created, and if it does, then screw the creator

 

EDIT: btw, the author of the car have used hours, or even days, to make that mod, and then u just wanna steal it and edit the mod?

Isn't that a bit harsh? I mean, just because he is trying to edit a mod, doesn't automatically mean he's going to try to pass it off as his own when he is done. That's what 12 year olds do, and I highly doubt this forum is for 12 year olds.

 

Although, to be honest, the mod is locked for a reason. So it's better not to mess with it.

I actually wanted help one person too, and I am not any 12 years old kid. And that same thing happens some times, when i try to edit, some original files (ex: SA cars) . And I am a new modder, only little exp from modding some original cars, like nfs shift cars, little.. =.= But now to the point; How the hell I can fix or do something with that?? O.o

I'm sorry man, but if it's locked, there's nothing you can do. Definitely try to work your way up, just practice modelling, you'll probably be able to make your own Benz in a few months time.

 

This is probably the route I'm going to take, my goal is to create real cars that aren't bigger than the original files. This will take a very long time, but I have all the time in the world lol. I might have to build a team for that though.

Actually, if I could start making my own Benz, then there comes a "zmodeler problem", what is: Lagging. That's why I cannot do anything now...
