lil weasel
The First step is to delete the gta_sa.set file, as your system may have updated a driver or such which is no longer compatable with the data stored in the .set file from your last working game play. Reboot the computer and try to play. If necessary reinstall the game. Which will require you to have an Original Installion disc or Legal Download... I would suggest you purchase the game on disc. They are available from most retailers for a resonable price. In my case I bought a replacedment at Amazon.com for 10,00$US. If you are going to mod the game don't buy the download. If you only want to play the game as is the downloads are fine but more expensive than disc. Where to (Buy) Download: Direct2Drive SteamPowered Rockstar Warehouse boxed PC games: Rockstar Site Also available at on-line sites… Amazon.com (I got a replacement copy for 10.00$US) and stores, GameStop, K-Mart, Wal-Mart, and their dot coms, etc. Modding is easy with Version 1 games (Hard to find). Not so easy unless you work at it with Version 2 games (Current). Not able to be done with Version 3 games (legally Downloaded). If you have accidentaly gotten a game from other source remember there are no fixes for pirated games to be found here. I don't think Not Remembering how you came by your game will stand up in the forum's 'court'. reference: http://www.gtaforums.com/index.php?showtopic=463665 http://www.gtaforums.com/index.php?showtopic=460171 Edited November 29, 2010 by lil weasel
Girish
You have already been told before to buy the game. Under no circumstances are we going to provide you with help on a pirated copy of the game. Consider this an informal warning and don't make any more topics for help on your pirated game, especially if you don't want to end up with a verbal warning in your member log.
