COD BO was the worst, since i am a COD troll.

 

I know it is addictive, but it doesn't make it a good game.

I don't have a Worst Game of 2010 though this year really doesn't have that many good Game Of The Year contenders. Seroiusly only Mass Effect 2 and Red Dead Redemption only deserved to win Game Of The Year awards for this year.

 

But I can say the game that dissapointed me the most for this year was Star Wars The Force Unleashed II. The first one wasn't that perfect but it was decent enough. II just threw everything away and made it a really bad game.

Note: I hate COD for many reasons. but i got Black ops for $10 off my friends and well The online is addicting yes. But after awhile i played it so much and prestiged and just said "f*ck it!" and let my friend have it for a few.

 

And The story and everything else (Not Including Zork on the Computer in the Main Menu. That was hella cool) sucks. But it do a good job connecting to the world at war storyline.

 

Im not going to bad talk Black ops anymore or the COD series. But i grew up with Medal of Honor games and until they make a good MOH game. ill just have to wait around.

This, for me, was the worst game this year by far.

 

Like Bad Company 2, but uglier, more formulaic, less interesting, with a far less involving multiplayer, dozens of irritating bugs, a storyline that was somehow dull despite many of the operations it was based on being some of the most interesting in modern conflict, and no fluidity to the controls. That was my biggest gripe- it almost seemed to treat mouse inputs as digital, which made precise aiming an absolute nightmare.

 

Really a very disappointing, badly engineered shooter.

I don't understand this, you obviously can't have hated it that much if you played it that much to the point of getting Prestige in multiplayer.

Defining weather a game is good or bad is something that none of us can really do. The ONLY game that is GOOD for sure this year is Starcraft II.

 

Most of us arnt in any position to judge weather games are universally good or not. Simply because we are not sufficiently trained to pass judgement effectively.

 

Alot of games deffinitly are not bad, BO isnt Bad, RDD isnt bad, ME2 isnt bad, BC2 isnt bad. Most games arnt. Weather they are good is another matter, but all those games answer the demand of a certain community.

You can say Black Ops and New Vegas are bad, but you'd just be full of sh*t.

 

You can say you didnt enjoy a certain part of the game, or you thought this and that was flawed. Something I have done extensively with New Vegas. But NV is in no way bad.

 

You can also say you simply dont like FPS, but that in no way makes Black Ops bad.

Splinter Cell Conviction

 

This game didn't feel anything like a Splinter Cell title. It was Splinter Cell for dummies. The game was basically on auto-pilot, you didn't have to aim(mark and execute), Sam moved faster, enemies wouldn't stfu, the game showed you your last known position, and more I forgot since I sold that piece of garbage. So yeah that's my nomination.

Epic Mickey. This game made me buy a f*cking wii. When i was a kid i would play the crap out of Disney games and watch the sh*t out of Mickey the mouse. But when I play the game I go WTF!!!!!!!????? It had a good idea and all but the gameplay was down right retarded. I didn't really like The Read Dead Undead DLC. It just got to repetitive.

Last time I checked this game still has great ragdoll physics.

MAG was universally recognised as bad for multiple valid reasons afaik. And playing 10 games in an FPS is more than enough to judge a game I'm afraid. There are fundamental gameplay and shooting mechanics that dont change or improve with time.

Splinter Cell Conviction

Conviction is kicking ass! It's a great game you see. It's all about being fast action. Mark and execute is so cool. You can use manually aim if you want to.

 

I play SC since SC 1 and i can tell Fisher now is so cool in Conviction.

Sam is now on the run. He is wanted by his agency. Why in the world do you expect it will be the same with previous game?? He's Splinter Cell no more so it is obviously no gears from the previous game will make a comeback! This game shows how skills and experience he developed can be a lethal threat to everybody even to a Splinter Cell equipped with full high tech gears.

 

Worst 2010

 

1. Mafia II & its DLCs (Both of them)

2. NFS Hot Pursuit (to me, it sucks and i don't care its back to NFS' root or what because i started NFS with NFSU 2)

3. Call of Duty Black Ops

4. Prince of Persia The Forgotten Sands (i hate this new "gay" prince, they should bring back prince in Warrior Within and acrobatic fighting)

5. Lara Croft and The Guardian of Light (thank god it's not an official Tomb Raider but it sucks, i will hate Eidos for the rest of my life if the series carry on like that)

Although it has really grown on me a lot since its release date in September, FIFA11 was a huge letdown. Mainly because the improvements over the past few years had been massive so I was really counting on EA to do it again. Instead, I get a rehashed version of fifa10 with some minor bullsh*t "additions" disguised behind marketing jargon (like "pro passing." give me a f*cking break)

 

The menus are the f*cking worst. After playing an online game, if you opponent does not wish to rematch, you are forced to exit the online mode, spit back out into the Main menu where you have to re-enter online mode! Whose brilliant idea was that?? jesus, just thinking about how sh*tty it is pisses me off...

 

edit: just want to make clear that i don't think fifa11 is the "worst game of 2010." it was just a big disappointment. I wouldn't be surprised if Hannah Montana released a game for Nintendo DS or something, surely that'd take the cake.

The game is a FAIL period i don't care what other people think but i remember when MW2 came out and i played that for like a month solid, till i got bored of that game, took me one week to get bored of Black-Ops.
