Started to do today the LOD's on the high-tech industrial area (Upper Town). I started with two companies, that are also GTAF Crews, which perfectly fits into this zone.   #1: Facade Corp: Software

Good News:     Started to do the map again, starting with the city. Here come some LOD's. These skyscrapers will come in game, btw.   Pls don't mind the mess. And the big donut.

Being short: The Gostown project was split in two: Gostown Blue and G7. Basically, While Gostown Blue will focus about finishing the old Gostown 6 and 5 maps, G7 will be another map made from scratc

You're supposed to have a totally clean install of GTA IV for it to work, which means no mods or save game files. You can delete your save games from \Users\*username*\AppData\Local\Rockstar Games\GTA IV\savegames. The best way to get Gostown working is to copy your entire root directory into an external backup folder (so that you can restore the game to the way you had it before the next step ore easily), and then uninstall and reinstall the game, which will revert it to its default state. Then, download the Gostown installer and run it.

Hmm figured that out already....

Anyways I just have a backup folder that I copy to test these kind of things...

No need to install, uninstall and reinstall, that seems pointless but thank anyways....

For god sakes can somebody help me I can't find the Gostown installer anywhere...Can someone post a link or something for me and when I download the Public Beta 1 of Gostown all I get is "Gostown instale.rar torrent" that doesn't do anything. HELP! confused.gif

It is possible to make the zombie mode work on multiplayer however the first post didn't mention who is the scripter for GostownIV, so i can't guess if their scripter is likely to know how to do it.

You have to install uTorrent to download it.

remove savegames , and delete the hotel's folder ( gta gostown /pc/data/maps/gp/gostown6/here)

 

 

It is possible to make the zombie mode work on multiplayer however the first post didn't mention who is the scripter for GostownIV, so i can't guess if their scripter is likely to know how to do it.

 

it's me but the zombie mods is not possible with gfwl, and his will along with IVMP has scripts to convert them, but personally i like the solo better now that the multi .

Hmm. Try this link: http://www.gta4-mods.com/misc/gostown-paradise-f13434 No guarantee that it'll work, but it's worth a look.

That's exactly what I downloaded. There's an URL for direct download on GTAGarage, but it's not working, and a *torrent file, that's also not working sad.gif

Help, I'd really love do have this mod sad.gif

I have a clean install of GTA IV. When I go to the waterfall my game crashes. I'm guessing it's something to do with the meshes of the water fall. Any suggestions on how to fix?

in gostown, replace the common/data/visualsetting.dat file from gtaiv
