Terreur, you should change menu & game text colors. (hud.dat & hudColor.dat)

 

Those menu colors look fantastic. Too bad EFLC can't use them. I hope I find a way to remove the Rainbow menu colors. I still don't know how it was done on the Xbox 360. I prefer this on EFLC because of the damn height limit on IV which stops me from flying over most of the map. I wish that could be fixed. EFLC takes up more space on my HD and IV I don't have to keep renaming the copies.

But I noticed you play on about the same settings I do. How is your FPS in reguler GTA IV, reguler EFLC, and IV SA?

 

Anyway, I think the current water color looks fine. But if you make it more transparent, the seabed will show off the turquoise effect.

 

With the right editing you can get this effect. Greenish in shallow area, darker blue in the deeper area.

The next release should have the EFLC port in there officialy. The port files were released when the IV version came out because I was too busy to finish them. If you want you can have people install the mod on EFLC, and have a CMD install the files.

Ok I ran original gostown install "Beta publique 1 : Download" in A clean EFLC. Next I installed files from"http://www.mediafire.com/?q60r73x55254ye1" Now I get "just-in-time" error. My explorer is set to disable debug & reg. is set @ 0 for Just-in-time debug. I tried with hotel files & without knowing that this was A problem in GTAIV version I still have A working Gostown in GTAIV. Any help please.

That looks cool. But I want to ask, is any code being used from the zombie script.img thats for the Xbox 360 and PS3? They look identical. Always raining, drunk camera when hit, abandoned cars spawning in car paths, ect. I'm not accusing you of anything, I'm just saying, because I always wanted that script for the PC.

 

Anyways how are you going to do the zombie mode for EFLC? Are you going to do it so TLAD is zombie mode, and TBOGT is the normal Ghostown? Or are you going to do it like you did with IV using a launcher? The launcher would be easier. If gta.dat renaming is going on for MP, on EFLC the DLC folders will need to be renamed if you want EFLC's MP to be with IV's MP.

I see Niko have some sort of martial arts technique when facing the zombies in hand-to-hand combat. Is that a mod created for Gostown or is it another mod I can download somewhere?

It's pretty nice, maybe you could change range of atacking zombies though.. So that they are smelling your flesh from a good distance

Ok. I got it. I'll test it. I may port it to Xbox360 MP so I can do a zombie mode with my friends.

 

Edit: If something like this is done for IV SA, we should use Area 53 as the spawn. That or the island east of the LS airport.

Could someone help me? I can play Gostown for like 10 seconds after GTA IV crashes. I tried putting all the settings to lowest, but GTA IV just tells me that it's out of video memory, which is strange, because I have about 1GB Vram, and GTA IV is using 202mbs of it. I normally use high/very high settings.
