Started to do today the LOD's on the high-tech industrial area (Upper Town). I started with two companies, that are also GTAF Crews, which perfectly fits into this zone.   #1: Facade Corp: Software

Good News:     Started to do the map again, starting with the city. Here come some LOD's. These skyscrapers will come in game, btw.   Pls don't mind the mess. And the big donut.

Being short: The Gostown project was split in two: Gostown Blue and G7. Basically, While Gostown Blue will focus about finishing the old Gostown 6 and 5 maps, G7 will be another map made from scratc

The only worry I have with mine is, even though I'm getting an acceptable frame rate, it is currently using 93% of the CPU in order to achieve it! :S

 

This isn't the right place to say this, but I recommend getting an Intel Core I7 920. Great CPU that isn't uber expensive.

If someone want to waste his money yes, otherwise i would recommend an much better and cheaper AMD Phenom II X4 955 Black Edition...

There haven't been any updates for the past week (and I didn't expect any with the lack of properly working tools)

 

So what else are we to talk about?

 

If you look back through the posts most of them just say somthing along the lines of 'I loved this mod in SA, and I'm really looking forward to it being in IV'

 

And its not as if were completely off topic talking about cheese... lol.gif

This is going to be sick. IV has the advanced lighting that makes it look great. But the 3d grass that SA had may not be able to be in this. sad.gif It would take alot of maping to put it in by hand. Also the Laguna is in Gost Town on the north side of the island. One last thing. You said that you have bildings and modles that were never released because the mod died. I dont remember an airport with a runway being in Gost Town 6. Just an empty space. Also there are holes in the ground in the city. Do you think you can upload the unreleased stuff as an addon for the for the SA Gost Town 6?

My favourite mod for San Andreas returns! in better condition than before :] i'm more excited than when i see naked girl in real life (and you guys must remember that polish girl are hottest on the world :]).

eehhmm, ok, i joking, nothing is better than hot chick, but gostown is still great :]

Tanjes has put this mod on hold untill better quality cols can be made without major bugs/errors. (last time I checked, ShadowLink was the only person working on the col editor, so it might take a while)

 

If you want to know how bad to cols are right now, go play ViceIV or add Laguna Seca.

 

They're not terrable, just not great.
