And... before people here begin investing a lot of time trying to fix a possible NO-FIX situation: How are you playing: 1. With the Original DVD in the Drive? 2. OR are you Using a 'backup' disc? 3. Are you Using a No-CD program or crack? 4. OR a Downloaded game from Direct2Drive, or SteamPower.com 5. Other source? Please specify. Girish Posted November 27, 2010 Share Posted November 27, 2010 You must have accidentally pressed "CQZIJMB" in sequence. That's the cheat code to spawn the Bloodring Banger. In cases like these, you should never save, especially when the game clearly mentioned that a cheat had been activated. Just reload the game. Anyways, that cheat isn't going to do any harm. Girish Posted November 27, 2010 Share Posted November 27, 2010 Yes, it's perfectly fine. The message holds significance only for the first time you try to save after using cheats. That's because I also used cheats in my first trip in gta sa and I was not even able to get past the Catalina's 'Tanker Commander' mission, and thus I didn't even go to San Fiero. So I had to restart the game and now I've finished more that 50%. I don't know which cheat affects in what kind of way. Please don't mistake me. Girish Posted November 27, 2010 Share Posted November 27, 2010 My comment wasn't generalized for all cheats. I was talking about a specific cheat; the one that the OP has used. That cheat will not cause him any trouble. However, cheats like the 'Riot' or 'Peds attack each other' cheat can screw up your save and should be avoided at all costs. Even if you do use them, don't save your game. Your mission 'Tanker Commander' must have been affected because you used one of these cheats. A few other missions are affected by it too.
