KPMont1234
I get a slight lag in GTA IV when running in Windows 7 Ultimate 32 Bit. I have it installed on my iMac (http://store.apple.com/us/browse/home/shop_mac/family/imac?aid=AIC-WWW-NAUS-K2-BUYNOW-IMAC-INDEX&cp=BUYNOW-IMAC-INDEX) (the 21.5 in. 3.2 GHZ model) and I've tried the Disable Windows Event Log and Defragmetning the GTA IV Folder, but it still has the lag. I don't know what else to do. I think my computer is pretty decent for running games, but it still sucks with GTA IV. Also, no matter the Graphics Settings, it still lags. Ideas? IronHide-AW
...Windows 7 Ultimate 32 Bit. I have it installed on my iMac...3.2 GHZ model...no matter the Graphics Settings, it still lags. Ideas? How many cores or total threads is your processor? IV is a CPU hog. 3.5+Ghz is best but it has to have at-least 3 execution paths so a quad-core or 2+2(HT). A dual-core with no HT will not cut it usually. Link to comment https://gtaforums.com/topic/463889-gta-iv-lag-windows-7-on-imac/#findComment-1060219993 Share on other sites

That's not true. He is most likely running bootcamp, which is nothing more then a dual booting system, Windows 7 would have native access to the imac's hardware. That being said, the specs aren't great, but he should be able to run IV at lower settings without lag. Probably GPU drivers issues. Garfield 2
These are comparable except the CPU to my system which runs IV quite well somehow. Link to comment https://gtaforums.com/topic/463889-gta-iv-lag-windows-7-on-imac/#findComment-1060228706 Share on other sites
