HELP WITH MODDING

Hi, I have purchased the GTA 4 yesterday for PC and hoping to play with all those new cars but unfortunately cudnt. I will explain the entire situation.

First of all I downloaded spark 4 for replacing that .wtf and .wtd files in vehicles.img i even copied handling.dat files and vehicles files from the new car to the GTA 4 handling and vehicles under data. However after I saved it, the game wouldnt run!!! PLZ SOMEONE HELP ME im soo sadd

 

I do not know the version of the game, AS I HAVE PURCHASED IT YESTERDAY AND I JUST INSTALLED IT so im not sure of the version.

 

PLEASE SOMEONE HELP, PLEASE

put dsound.dll in gta iv flooder and then it works

hi, but after i download it says copy in gta 4 directory. where is the gta 4 directory???? and it says smth about binkw32.dll wat is that?? wer do i find it? plz help. thanks

It would help if you were a little less emotional when you type.

 

Anyway, just update your game to a patch that is suitable for modding. Obviously if you haven't patched it yourself, it has no auto-patch, so it's still on the first patch (1.0.0.0). What you need is either 1.0.3.0 or 1.0.4.0. Those are the best suited for modding. And after that, get a new filelist.pak and put that in pc/data. The old one should be around 13,000kb, and the new one only 8b.

 

Just google everything above. Patch 1.0.3.0 or 1.0.4.0 and filelist.pak fix.

dude u do know u don't need asi loader for car mods and sparksIV right? asi loader is FOR SCRIPTS ONLY!
