Not only does it reduce loudness, it also reduces load times and reduces wear and tear on the disc drive. And also reduces Hard Drive space So what about the people who have the 20GB version? They can only install one game. thats why they dont make nor sell the 20gb version any where any more.... cause people are smart enough to know that a 20gb is no longer adequate... I don't have any current gen ones though. If I could get one of them for free, I would choose the PS3, but I don't think either of them are worth my money right now.
