StarJet905
Well, I haven't played the original IV, but got EFLC on disc. Not gonna be able to get IV for quite some time, so I booted up TLAD and roamed around a bit. Which one should I play first? Also, from the first few missions, I didn't like TLAD much. Having to follow Billy to every destination made me feel like my freedom was stripped. I really loved the long driving sections of SA, but this one really feels off cause of all the formation crap. Whiite Devil
Finish TLAD first... TBOGT has more missions and features, if you play TBOGT first you may start to hate TLAD more than you already does Link to comment https://gtaforums.com/topic/463807-tbogt-or-tlad/#findComment-1060218115 Share on other sites
Dwagginz
GTA IV > TLAD > TBoGT That's the order. If in doubt, release order is your best bet. Link to comment https://gtaforums.com/topic/463807-tbogt-or-tlad/#findComment-1060218140 Share on other sites

StarJet905
Thanks, guys. =) Anyway, I decided to skip TLAD. TBOGT feels much more GTA than TLAD. Loving it from the moment I started it up. Btw, is it just me, or is car handling better when playing as Luis than Johnny, just like bike handling is better with Johnny? Cause I swear cars handled like sh*t in TLAD, and they just feel right in TBOGT. StarJet905
I know, but I got this for dirt cheap, and haven't got money to cough up for GTAIV yet. Plus, I mainly stress on the gameplay in a game like this. For example, I totally loved SA, but thought the storyline was ridiculous. spaceeinstein
How can a game feel more "GTA" when you haven't even played all available GTA games before? Link to comment https://gtaforums.com/topic/463807-tbogt-or-tlad/#findComment-1060219490 Share on other sites
StarJet905
How can a game feel more "GTA" when you haven't even played all available GTA games before? I'm sure having clocked in 50+ hours each on GTA3, VC and SA, and roughly 30 hours on VCS and CW must count for something. Sure, that's nothing hardcore unlike most people here, but I'm certain that's enough for me to know what a GTA game should feel like. =) Link to comment https://gtaforums.com/topic/463807-tbogt-or-tlad/#findComment-1060219930 Share on other sites

StarJet905
Haha, I'll play it as soon as I can get my hands on it. Dunno about being a bastard, but he undertakes ridiculously hard missions. Sexy Time was a disaster. =S Link to comment https://gtaforums.com/topic/463807-tbogt-or-tlad/#findComment-1060220134 Share on other sites
TommyMufc-Champs
Complete IV then TLAD and then TBOGT. Link to comment https://gtaforums.com/topic/463807-tbogt-or-tlad/#findComment-1060220410 Share on other sites

If more people have completed those games, the notion of a "GTA game" would be very different.
