controller settings won't save with XLiveLess

I just recently decided to try XLiveLess to get rid of GFWL. Everything works fine except that some of my controller settings in the game options won't save. I'm running a fresh install of the retail version of the game, and it was updated with the 1.0.7 patch. Before patching the game or even running it, I made sure to update both GFWL and RGSC. After doing all my updates and installing the patch, I ran the game so I could set all the options the way I wanted them. Then I removed GFWL and used XLiveLess version 0.999-beta7. After launching the game again, most of the controller settings I changed were back to the defaults. I'm pretty sure I moved all my files to the right places after installing XLiveLess. Just to note, if I remove the XLiveLess dll and reinstall GFWL my settings all seem fine again. Any idea what's causing this, or is there something I did wrong?
