Long Baggage "Trains"

I've been playing this game since it came out in 2004. I now continue to play on my macbook pro in amazing HD. Anyway, all this time, I've never been able to make a long baggage trailer train. What is the secret to this? People always say "just drive around the airports, you'll find the trailers". But it doesn't work. I know where to find about three trailers, but once I get three, i NEVER get ANY more that appear. 3 baggage trailers and a ladder trailer is the longest I've ever had. What's the trick, anyone know?

From a memory of an old topic of the same subject, which we can't find as the SEARCH isn't working.

It takes about three to five minutes to respawn an item (time dependant on CPU speed so it seems).

Do I have to be away and out of sight, or can I wait right next to the spawn-spot, and just link up, drive 10 feet away, and go eat a sandwich (in real life i mean) then come back?

You can only have 12 or 13 car's in the memory so you can make a chain of 11 or 12 trailer.

Leave the airport with the short "train" that you have, in LS go park it at the train station or better yet the empty parkinglot just south of it. SF park at the circuler buildings. LV probably the strip would be fine. Those areas should be far enough away to get those bagagge trailers to re-spawn. Head back in few minutes, after enjoying your sandwich, and hopefully you'll be able to add to your bagagge train.
