Back in 97 when GTA1 came out i've been playing since then and i haven't gone on a bloody rampage in all the years i've been playing GTA. I was 16 at the time.

Around 10 or so maybe? I started playing GTA around 2002 or so.. so I missed out on the release on GTAIII. I heard about Vice City coming out on the television (the one with the flock of seagulls song) and I immediately asked my mom to buy it. Every since then I've bought and enjoyed each GTA title as soon as they came out.

I was 11 when i first played GTA 1, must of been out for a year when i went around my mates house and he was playing it, spent many, many hours swapping the controller back and forth after each death .

 

Never looked back since.

I was about 8 or 9 years old when I first caught my eyes on GTA II, but wasn't drawn into the GTA world until I was 10 years old playing GTA III at my cousin's house, fun times...

I started with VC, I used to go play CS with friends. And one day I saw a guy playing a strange game in wich you can control a guy in third person view, he was driving cars, shooting people and stuff wich make me think I was wasting my time and I should be f*cking playing that.

 

Played the hell out of VC for some years, then discovered SA wich was even more awesome, and then discovered modding.

 

Here I am.

I played GTA 2 at my cousin's when I was five. I didn't think much of it, as I thought the dead people looked more like squished bugs rather than corpses. At age six I was able to persuade my parents into letting me buy GTA III.

In 2004 I went to a friends house and his chicks little 7 yr old bro was messin with GTA III, I LMAO watching and went next day and bought III, next day bought VC...

Can't help but laugh at that, it reminds me of people who say "I've being using <substance> for <x> years and I'm alright!" when they're clearly affected.

But anyway, I honestly can't remember how old I was when I first got my hands on a console.. I remember the very first game I played was Alex the Kid on the sega master system. My favourite game at the time was a Rambo-esque sort of game, I can't remember the name of it but I remember the first boss was a helicopter and you had to hold the up and fire button at the same time.

The first GTA game I played was GTA IV. I know, call me "late", or whatever. But it's alot of fun. But really, I became interested on the GTA series was when I started looking at videos of GTA SA, which I was amazed at seeing the freedom that the players have with modding and killing and sh*t. So, yea.

The first time I played GTA was somewhere in 2003 or 2004, I don't remember correctly. It was GTA III at my friend's house. I was about 17 (gosh, I was a lot older than you peeps who started playing GTA so young). Before that, I didn't even know that there existed such a thing as Grand Theft Auto.

When I was about 9 or 10 I went over to a friends house and he had gta2, we played it for hours and hours until his mum kicked us out of the house.

I watched my brother play through III and Vice city, But San Andreas was when I really started playing GTA.

I played GTAIII at a friends house for hours on end when he first got it. It was a while after it was released, but a few months before Vice City. Must have been 13 then?

 

VC was the first one I owned, got it for Christmas 2002 iirc.

I think I started playing GTA III at around 10 or maybe younger. Didn't understand most of it besides "drive there" and "kill him" back then but now I get the picture.

I don't remember correctly which I played first, 2 or III.

Well I played GTA2 for the first time at my grandparents place in 2001-02. I was 6-7. And III at my friends house, about the same time.

 

But I really started playing in like 2005-06, when I got pirated VC from a friend. Good times.
