It's developed by R* North, that's why it's guaranteed to be good. The game you're talking about is L.A Noire.

I'm looking forward to hear more news on Agent so bad. On the Sony press conference they said that they hoped Agent would receive the same "must have value" as GTA. Sounds promising, no?

Seems weird if Agent is only for PS3 considering they've been working on it so long. I'm seriously hoping it'll come to PC.

While I have been surfing the internet minutes ago, I decided to do a little research about the game in attempt to find something I probably haven't seen or haven't read about it. Surprisingly, I have found this link from what appears a video gaming website, talking about Agent. The new thing is that it shows 3 images from an early prototype and a short tech demo of the game when it was under the authority of Rockstar San Diego in 2004 before they canceled the project.

 

I don't know whether there's any credibility in that link, but it's worth a look.

 

Edit: I was wondering how that website managed to get these images and the tech demo, if they were true in the first place, but it seems that the website's goal is "an archive with articles, screens and videos for cancelled, beta & unseen videogames. Every change & cut creates a different gaming experience: we would like to save some documents about this evolution for curiosity, historic and artistic preservation." Anyone can edit the content like Wikipedia, so I wouldn't exclude the possibility of some Rockstar San Diego employees posted these images and the tech demo.

Funny enough I just read an article on Gamespot stating that Analysts predict GTA5 in 2012 at the earliest. With LA Noire, DNF and Max Payne 3 in the pipeline for the parent company , I don't see that being so totally out of this world.

Agent cant become their main title. Its only a ps3 exclusive, R* made a deal once already and that was a huge loss for them. Bringing EFLC only on the X360 was a bad idea. (at the start).

My theory with Agent's delay is R* is planning to release Agent in multi-platform rather than a PS3 exclusive, for it need more time and work to port over to 360 and PC (hopefully). Look how much abuse R* cop when EFLC were XBL exclusive until a year later. I think R* has learn from their mistakes and will release Agent to all platforms. At least that's my theory.

@Little William: i hope it comes to 360 but i honestly doubt it... R* started on PC and Playstation and Sony helped them (somewhat) become the publisher and Developer they are now because they gave them a chance... i really do hope that the reason its taken so long is because it isnt exclusive any more... i mean financially not being exclusive would mean more money but that would mean breaking the exclusivity contract with Sony which would cost more money to where they'd get more money being exclusive and not going multi and paying the damages due to the breaking of the contract...

 

in honesty as a 360 owner i'd love agent but i doubt it comes to Xbox or PC unless some thing is worked out at a much later date (like San Andreas being released almost a year after it came out on PS2)

I'm seriously dissapointed in r* for doing this exclusive to one console bullsh*t. Seriously just give ALL OF THE GAMERS the game then it's being fair, but then again they probably got alot of money for it staying exclusive on PS3 and sony are probably getting revenge for R*'s deal with microsoft for the exclusive to xbox GTA IV DLC.
