LC Zombie Roleplay {Xbox360}

Come and play the fun experience of zombie roleplay, with the gaming cummunity Hordz. Just add Hordz Cummunity to get in the game!!!

The Original ZRP!

Requires 6 People

Read The Rules!

Isolation: You should start the game far enough away from the rest of the players. You will be on your own, and free to roam the city (or whats been marked for play.) If you come into contact with another human it may be good or bad. Everyone has free will and you don't know if your coming into contact with a kind survivor or a complete psychopath.

Health System:

Every player starts off with ONE medkit. A medkit is essentially a healthpack. You can use a medkit when:

-You have taken damage from a human player

-You have been killed by a human player (your respawn will count as a medkit use)

-You have been hurt by a zombie

You can receive a medkit by:

-Being given one by another player, or being healed by a medic

-Scavenging for one. (More on this later.)

-Establishing a settlement (More on this later.)

Zombification:

-If you are KILLED by a zombie you will become a zombie in 4 in-game hours (8 minutes.) (Depending on the size of the room, or playtime, this may change.)

-You continue playing as a human until you reach your zombification time.

-Once you are zombified, you can consider yourself a "fresh" zombie. Meaning your not a rotting corpse like the others, and wont look like one. Just pull out your knife and start attacking.

-It is polite to give verbal clues that you have been "bitten" or might be turning soon. You can consider yourself a jerk if you don't tell anyone.

-However if your team knows, you can expect them to shoot you at some point, don't get mad, its part of the game.

-If an original zombie approaches you, you may use the universal symbol of "t-bagging the air" to signify that you are already a zombie. Any players caught doing this, and they are NOT a zombie will be booted.

-If you are not yet zombified but have been "infected," and you are killed yet again by a zombie, you are a zombie upon respawn.

Weapon System:

The old weapon level system is gone. It was stupid and too confusing. From now we are keeping it simple by specifying which weapons players can use. This means that classes can use:

Assault Rifles, SMG's, Shotguns, Sniper Rifles, Handguns, Grenades, Molotov Cocktails.

Most of the time it wont be specified "which" assault rifle/smg/shotgun ect. This is because it can be difficult getting that specific weapon in a ZRP game. You must write which weapons your character can use. The soldier is one of the only characters who has the ability to use every weapon on the first day. After the first day (if you survive 1 full game) you have the ability to use any weapon no matter what class you are. If you die you restart from day 1.

Medics are prone to using melee combat, handguns (specifically glock), and SMG's.

Enforcers can use any of the weapons but no character can use all of them.

Support classes are prone to melee combat, handguns, SMG's, Snipers, and projectiles.

Just because your character can use a certain weapon DOES NOT MEAN HE CAN PICK IT UP WHENEVER.

If you start with a gun, or have obtained a gun, you CANNOT PICKUP AMMUNITION UNLESS YOU HAVE FOUND IT THROUGH THE SCAVENGING SYSTEM (more on this later.)

You can only carry one weapon (with a pistol) at a time. The soldier can carry two primary weapons.

If you have a primary weapon that is not a pistol on you, you MUST HAVE IT OUT AT ALL TIMES. For example: You have an assault rifle or shotgun out, you cannot put it away to run faster.

Scavenging:

To stay alive your going to need to scavenge places. In order to do this, enter any building or place of interest. Once you are inside you will call the host on the phone. Notify me them where you are. They will tell you what you found, if anything. (Based on a statistics based probability system.)

Things you can find via scavenging:

-Medkits

-Ammo

-Weapons

-

-Walkie-Talkies. A player who owns a pair of walkie-talkies may give one to a player in his group. They can now keep in touch with the phone as long as both players are alive.

-Quests (More on this later)

Settlements and Safehouses:

A safehouse is small place of refuge. Safehouses at the moment do not have a benefit besides the secrecy, and safety it gives you. Every player should have a safehouse of some sort that they should be returning to at least once in the game.

A settlement is what you could consider an "ultra" safehouse. Settlements can be created by groups of 4 or more survivors.

Settlements can be:

-Blocked off/Barricaded large areas.

-Large in-game places (The platypus)

Although settlements are supposed to work by aiding a large group of survivors, we still don't want survivors picking cheap places where zombies cannot reach easily, such as playboys mansion. If you have any doubt about your safehouse/settlement you should call the game host and ask.

Benefits of having a settlement:

-3 players are granted an extra medkit

-3 players are granted an ammunition kit. (one ammo pack of their choice for a gun that they already have.)

There are also certain places where you can create a settlement, and receive a bonus.

UN Building or Police station: 1 unit of grenades for 1 player. A random generated weapon.

Hospital: 1 extra medkit. If a doctor is on the premises he can delay a players zombification for 2 extra hours

-Others will be wrote down later, probably in a separate topic.

-Humans in water for 30 mins top and zombie unlimited

Quests:

-Quests are the "scenarios" of Zombie Role Play. We will be creating quests and figuring out ways to merge them into game play.

FINAL NOTE:

A game lasts from morning (6:00) to the next morning (6:00) or sun-up. This is 48 minutes long.

THE AGREEMENT: If you start as a human, you MUST play as a zombie after, and vice versa. You must play for at least 2 games. Players who leave once they need to be a zombie WILL not be invited back.

Zombie Rules

- You start on a team with the rest of the zombies. You will not be able to see where the humans are but you will be able to see your teammates. Scour the city for the humans, you may kill on site.
