ptiko
CS3. Hopefully I'll get CS5 from work in 2 weeks Link to comment https://gtaforums.com/topic/463557-photoshop/#findComment-1060213562 Share on other sites
rhyn
I use CS5. I find it much better for photo editing. It has the best sharpening function of the lot as far as I can see. Pico
CS5. I have a bunch of plug-ins and filters I can't get to install into CS5, so I pop open CS3 from time to time. But rarely... it may be a conflict with having CS3 installed and the plug-ins being installed on that version, so I might bite the bullet and uninstall it completely and see if the plug-ins will work with CS5. The Guru
CS5. I think it's the best one for post-work photo editing and for designs. It has so many useful features that the earlier versions we're missing. coin-god
CS2, for texturing and other small things. I don't know what 90% of the tools do, so it's ok for me. Link to comment https://gtaforums.com/topic/463557-photoshop/#findComment-1060214086 Share on other sites

rhyn
Content aware is the most overrated piece of crap you will never use. I just plain doesn't work as well as it does in that video. customkingpimp
content aware works fine for smaller objects... when it comes to larger objects, It absolutely sucks. Mister Pink
Content aware is the most overrated piece of crap you will never use. I just plain doesn't work as well as it does in that video. Yeah Mick they really made sure they picked the right photo to show what content aware can do to it's full potential but in reality we don't all have simple photos like that for content aware to actually work like that. At least it's a start for something promising. Maybe for CS7 So, in work I use CS5 and at home. Would like to learn Illustrator amongst other things. If your using CS5 you could use the Content Aware Fill and healing brush. But if your using CS4 or lower, it's pretty f*cking hard work mate. I use CS5 now thanks to Narcis. Omnia sunt Communia
I use CS5. I don't really do anything overly complicated with it. Use it to design gig posters mostly. I have done a few paid jobs which have landed me £20 a piece so I can't complain. geomy
Not a single penny. When I was starting out, I "donated" a lot of work to clubs and organizations I was involved with - good both for practice and getting your work seen. Then it's about a decent portfolio and marketing yourself. Link to comment https://gtaforums.com/topic/463557-photoshop/#findComment-1060268242 Share on other sites
