SugarD-x
Now I know in general that without the source this is not possible, but I'm curious...the GTA modding scene has aged quite a bit and gained alot of knowledge over the years, so I'm curious if anyone knows how hard it would be to trick Multi Theft Auto 0.5 into reading basic LUA scripts. Obviously the capabilities would be very limited if it were working, but I was wondering how one would go about doing such a thing. I've been told that theoretically any socket language, (like mIRC scripting), could connect to MTA 0.5 and run it's scripts, but can LUA do this on it's own? If so, would it require anything be done on the source side of MTA? This is just more of a hack idea rather than anything else, because if it were possible to rig such a system up, I would like to give it a try and see what can be abused in MTA 0.5 to increase scripting capabilities without breaking sync. Keep in mind that MTA 0.5 is for GTA 3 and VC, not the SA version, which is MTA 1.0. Any ideas?
