As always with Bioware things are not as simple as "it is releasing on the 26th June". It is being released worldwide on the 26th June for PC and Xbox 360 users. The EC will also be released on the 26th June for PS3 users in North America. However PS3 users in the rest of the world have to wait till 4th July for it.

At this point the DLC must feel like a bad idea from EA's perspective as it's just going to shine a light on the bad ending again without actually changing anything, just "clarifying" it. There will not suddenly be happy people after the DLC is out.

I can't bring myself to play it. Everytime I look at that 0/5000, any wish to play it I'd had vanishes. I keep hoping they'll bring out a fix to revert the .gpd file, but the topic on the BioWare forums has been as good as ignored by anybody that can do anything. I'd even consider modding.

 

Passing up free DLC? There's a first time for everything, I guess.

It's like they don't want you to find it on the Xbox, nothing on the dashboard and it's right at the end mixed with avatar gear in the ME3 download list.

 

Thought f*ck playing from Cerberus base and playing through Earth so i just decided to load up from the Citadel, still got the best ending even without playing multiplayer to get the rediness percentage back up.

 

They're all on Youtube now as well. Can't be arsed going through the end game part twice more as it takes to long to get to the end point so i'll just watch the last two endings on Youtube.

I saw the endings on YouTube. All I can say is, f*ck you Bioware. They fixed the issue of having closure, but that still doesn't change the fact that the ending is one massive plot hole that destroys the entire plot of Mass Effect 1 and it makes no logical sense. That blasted child is still there with all of his retarded 'logic' about the synthetics. Jesus Christ what a bunch of morons.

Please don't compare this with George Lucas, Bioware actually at least improved their game. Not much fold mind you, but they did a better job than at least Lucas ever did in 'improvement'.

 

Let the game just go on with itself - you didn't get you wanted and you know what?

Just love the new endings. exactly how a trilogy should end, I hope they are going to do this to Dragon Age III without needing to expand it later on.

And it most likely isn't the end after all. Some fans have dug up some details about a possible DLC about the origin of the Reapers. It sounds like something that should be set after the ending. And guess what? Shepard is in it. No one knows what to think anymore. Bioware is trolling us royally. There are some hints of new weapon mods as well.

That was really good, actually. I like all three (well, four) endings for their own individual outcomes, not just different parts of a colour spectrum.

 

It was a bit ham fisted how they got over the whole jungle-planet-stranded plot hole and the errone-in-Sol-starving-to-death thing. And the paintings-in-lieu-of-cinematics was sh*t (but would have tipped them over 2gb) but that doesn't detract from this being so much better than before. Then again, if you put the bar low enough, even the biggest spastic can fall over it.

With those tweets hinting at possible DLC, and leaks about what the DLC could be about, the ending could be massively improved. The major flaw of the ending is that the starchild appeared out of thin air in the last 10 minutes. But if the future DLC is about the origin of the Reapers, they could actually fix everything about the Catalyst as well.

Some things are taken from BSN forum,i mean they couldnt figure out some things by themself before this fiasco,and put some epilogue scenes on time?Some things like how the fleets return home or how Normandy was fixed on jungle planet were just skipped,like others in thread said.There is even some new plotholes like how Normandy fly away in destroy ending if EDI is fryed,did somebody install some new onboard computer.Husk becoming self aware was hilarious,imagine what would think hybrids like Cannibals and Brutes when they wake up. Synthesis scenes looked scary,with everyone looking like some green ghosts with glowing eyes, quite disturbing.And control with Shepard saying how he become god who will watch Galaxy,and make shore everyone is behave or he will send Harbinger to make peace.

And everybody knows now that Breathe scene wasnt supposed to mean anything,it was only to lure people into MP and microtransactions,f*ck you wery much for that EA.They better not put that in any new game if they want people to buy their games more.

And one more thing,4th option.They basically made ending like Deus Ex,but now is more like Deus Ex:Human Revolution with choice to just decline all three regular choices and just let the next cyclus solve the situation,just like Adam Jensen could destroy Panchea and let the people decide future with out his choice. I know that becouse i just finished HR few days ago.Eidos should really sue them now.

I'm actually pleased with the new ending. true, there are some plot holes left like how the starchild reapered his creators but other than that I am pleased.

 

Some faith in bioware is restored. I still won't pre-order thier games day one but I will buy them new.

Urgh, no. We don't need everything explained to us. Midichlorians anyone?

 

An interpretation I like is that the star child is a reaper, or is contained in the form of a reaper like other civilisations are (probably Harby - that also explains how little it's featured in the game) as he appears the same way Sovereign does in the first game. When you shoot the kid or tell him to f*ck off he loses his cool and speaks like a reaper.

Played trough the last mission again and went with the 4th ending then watched the rest on youtube. I've absolutely loved it.

I was right next to the destroy ending and i turned round and fired a couple of shots at ghostboy, then he gets all angry at me.

 

This rumoured leaked DLC sounds very interesting, should be good.
