They need to bring back the Presidium dammit! I don't know anyone who didn't love running through the Presidium! Just make the Citadel the headquarters since you know Earth is busy being invaded and I'll be happy.

There has also been some controversy about a new Anime figurine of Liara that Bioware have approved. Apparently it hasn't gone down well with the fans and when you see it you will probably understand why :-

 

 

Apparently it will look better when it has been painted, the term "wishful thinking" comes to mind.

That lithograph is pretty sweet. I normally don't jump on special editions for games, but I'm more hyped for ME3 then I was even for GTA IV. Might have to spring for it.

 

I've been doing another play through of ME1, going to roll that into ME2 when I get done. Gettin' anxious.

Well in all fairness, the SR2 is taken by The Alliance, stripped down, had all the tech surveyed and then put back together with loads of new parts and is now an Alliance vessel. So it could look like an entire new vessel inside.

I don't know about a co-op in a Mass Effect game. I'd rather Bioware focus on finishing the Shepard chapter then turning to another game for a mass effect co-op/multiplayer type spinoff. Don't want them to f*ck this one up.

Honestly, I wouldn't mind a co-op mode but only if they don't f*ck up the story and have the people who join your game play as the squadies and not as another shepard. The people who join your game don't get story progress but would get exp and other perks as well.

 

 

However, I doubt that there will be a co-op mode in this game which would be for the better.

They would probably have new characters and a separate storyline for any co-op mode. I'd enjoy it - something like the horizon level with hoards of husks.

Considering how much potential there is to be misogynistic when creating a race of all bisexual, promiscuous, female sex machines, Bioware did a fair effort to not pigeonhole them with that and not stick a "the entirety of women here are whores" sentiment in there. Liara was the perfect subversion of the race's profile: shy, academic, conservative and favouring logic over passion. She successfully legitimised the race of bi sex nuts. Making her into one of those creepy, unrealistically proportioned anime characters just slaps all that legitimisation in the face.

I think it's kinda confirmed that we would see Mass Effect spin-offs in the future. I'm wishing for a GTA-ish game set on Omega

Okay, so like, I'm super late to the party. I just beat Mass Effect 2 last night. People died, must play game over. Want to anyway. But uh, yeah, just wondering, read this on the wiki, does our human love interest from the first game becomes a spectre in 3...? That true? Because that sounded real cool to me.

 

And I also read they'll be returning to our squad. So is this for real? If I romanced Ash, will I have her back as a love interest in 3, and she'll be spectre? I'm prepared to be disappointed.

 

And if it's true, I will be romancing no one in my new 2 playthrough.

It's your decision man, but that's exactly how RPG's shouldn't be played. You should live with your decisions and consequences.

I'd play trough the game multiple times too (I have 4 playtroughs or so) but the first playtrough I'll import to ME3 will be my 1st playtrough. Even trough people died.

But yeah, just my two cents here.

It's your decision man, but that's exactly how RPG's shouldn't be played.

The proper way to play ME2 to play it once by your own rules. Then replay it again and engineer things so that you kill off Miranda because she's a massive bitch, and save Kelly because if you don't you're a f*cking monster.

I tend to take my sweet time, but it was also probably a bit of luck seeing as all that died on the ending of my very first playthrough were Collectors and TIM's calm disposition

I'll be using my first save as well, no one died on mine.

 

well jack kinda did die, but I my computer kinda blew up, so I had to go do me1 and 2 all over again, and no one died.

I have...hold on lemme count... 9 Sheperds all ready to go for the Reaper Invasion.

 

First Sheperd is the default Male Shepard, whole crew and squad survived and is a Soldier class.

 

My Seventh Sheperd on the other hand, is a FemShep whose whole crew is dead and only Garrus, Miranda, Samara and Mordin survived. My last Shepard has the whole crew survived but only Tali and Garrus remaining. I can never killed off Garrus.

 

Goddamn can't wait to see how the consequences are!

I've never done a save where've purposely lost people, I might after I make a evil male Sheppard. Well somewhat evil he's going to be more of a hard ass, nice to the crew, for the most part. (I mean he isn't going to go up to Samara after Morinth dies and be like HAHA your daughter died but small stuff he might be a sarcastic ass lol)

 

I'm thinking he'll be a Earth Born, Infultrateor named Maxwell, seems like a evil name, and him basicaly being a sniper adds to the bleak out look on life.
