No I did really want to see it, I didn't mind about the spoiler, infact if anyone here still wants to watch it, i'll embed the video:

Massive spoiler in the first few seconds of the earth video. Switched off.

You know it is getting ridiculous with some people and these damn spoilers. Look if you do not want to know ANYTHING whatsoever about the game then it's simple stay out of the damn topic. If you want non-spoiler news then check the first post which I regularly update. I am doing my best to try and bring info to people and make it as spoiler free as possible. If that isn't enough then we might as well just close the damn topic and just wait a year for the thing to come out.

There is absolutely NOTHING in the Earth level that can be considered "spoilerish" NO Anderson is NOT a squad mate, if he was going to be a squad mate we would have heard about it by now. He is just a squad mate for that FIRST level, now I don't consider it spoilerish that Anderson is in the game, do you ?

I have seen several instances where people jump to damn conclusions about "spoilers" when they aren't spoilers and are simply people assuming things. There is a topic on Social Bioware where people are screaming "OMGZ Anderson dies at the end of the Earth level". They are basing that on the fact the demo ends before you see him jump up onto the ship. They naturally ignore the f*cking fact that in a later level you actually hear Anderson talking to Shepard dozingoff.gif . Just because you ASSUME something from watching a video does not make it a bloody spoiler.

The video contains information about the game that people might not want to know until they actually play the game such as Anderson being a squadmate for at least one level. That's why we have spoiler tags on this message board - I suggest you edit your post using them unless you see yourself as a troll.

It's not difficult really, just a drag and a click.

Were you dropped on your head as a baby or something ? That video does not in any way suggest that Anderson is a f*cking squad mate. All that video shows is that he is a temporary squad mate. Hell it was even reported that the Anderson model is just a PLACE HOLDER model so in the finished game you might not even have Anderson accompanying you on that mission.

The reason why I am not using spoilers in this conversation is because there is nothing spoilerish being discussed. All you know from that video is that Anderson is in the game (OMGZ mega spoiler right there he is IN THE GAME dun dun dun) and that he may be a temporary squad mate. Now if you believe I am being a troll or some how trying to "ruin" the game for people then please kindly report me or shut up about it.

I'm tempted to not use spoiler tags to tick off the likes of you, GTAheroIV. If you read the Mass Effect 3 thread which discusses Mass Effect 3 you're bound to run into someone who's a bit more liberal with the spoiler tags regarding the Mass Effect 3 story. If that doesn't suit you, it's not like you're forced at gun point to read the thread. Obviously spoiler tags should be used for stuff like Shepard dies at the end of Mass Effect 3 after stabbing a reaper with his omni-blade, but there's no guarantee someone won't forget. And there is no point in delving into minutiae and putting spoiler tags on "Garrus fixes his face" or "there is a female salarian squadmate. If you don't want minute crap like that unspoiled, don't read the thread.

Just thought I would post this (primarily for UK people really). As you know Mass Effect 3 has a Collectors Edition and if you live in the US you have been able to pre-order it since yesterday. There has been much nashing of teeth on the Bioware forums as too whether the Collector Edition will be available in the UK. Well thankfully it is now up and ready for pre-order :-

Mass Effect 3 Collector Edition PC version = £59.99

Mass Effect 3 Collector Edition PS3 version = £69.99

Mass Effect 3 Collector Edition 360 version = £69.99

The company is Game.co.uk not my own personal favourites but right now it isn't available anywhere else. Anyway I slapped my pre-order down, can always cancel it later if I find a better deal.

I find it hard to argue with day before release delivery and reward points. I shall be pre-ordering now.

Even when Anderson say that cerberus and reaper working together?

I didn't think so... but apperently according to some it was.

Here is what Casey Hudson had to say about that :-

Nah, not a spoiler, just simplification of premise for TV. Cerberus & Reapers are both against you in #ME3 - the mystery is why.

I don't recall hearing Anderson saying that in the video can you point out at what part of the video he said it ? At the end of the day all the stuff so far has been released by Bioware they don't consider it spoilerish, they want you to know these things. If you don't want some aspects of the story spoiled then people really shouldn't come into an ME 3 topic.

That Earth level video was absolutely fantastic and personally it got my blood going for this game (more so than the Mordin level). I personally did not consider anything in the video to be of any significance spoiler wise. Any spoilers that people may find in that video would have been far out weighed by experience a fantastic play through of a truly awe inspiring level.

I am getting tired of pussy footing around such moronic minuscule spoilers. Right now I have two screenshots I want to post, I want to embed them in here so we can all see them and it breaks the forum discussion up a bit. However I don't want to embed them because right now there is gonna be some one going "OMGZ that picture contains a spoiler, it shows Shepards right eye is 1cm higher than his left eye, god dammit CC you have ruined the game for me now".

You didn't miss much, it was just rehashing the same stuff we saw in the Game trailer videos. Hell they did the exact same walk throughs of the exact same levels. The interview with Casey Hudson didn't reveal anything other than the fact the Krogan female isn't a Princess. That was about it really the thing only lasted about 15 minutes as well, most people were fairly disappointed with it. I haven't seen any links to the footage but if I do I will shove em in here.

Yeah this whole "OMG ITS A SPOILER QQ" is getting out of hand If I was that worried I'd stay clear of this thread. The fact of it is the anderson as a squadmate in the very beginning of the game cannot in any way be considered a spoiler.. I had the ending of LA Noire spoiled by that gay porn freak and I didn't act half as asinine as some people.

Not anderson saying it though.    It was said tho.

Ah right you were on about what Casey Hudson said, yeah that caused a bit of a ruck us for some. As I said Casey tweeted to set things straight, he didn't mean that Cerberus is working with the Reapers it sort of came out like that when he was being interviewed (understandable it is a stressful situation). What he was trying to say is that both Cerberus and the Reapers are after Shepard, his tweet should clear things up :-

So what he was trying to say is that both are after Shepard not necessarily both are working together to get Shepard.

Right as I said earlier Bioware have released two new screen shots and as they say in the publishing world "publish or be damned" here they are :-

Ok OK I admit the first one aint that gripping, I have to be honest I am getting a tad bit tired of seeing screen shots of Cerberus shock troops tounge.gif . The second one is a bit better because you get to see the new Omni-blade in action, it doesn't look as naff as it sounds really.

Oh yeah and Minic here is the 15 minute IGN Mass Effect 3 Demo, like I said nothing you won't have seen in the Game trailer stuff :-

Screw the spoilers.... for the time being at least. I swear after E3, I'm gonna go on a ME3 blackout till March. God I hope I don't kill myself till then.

Watched the Escape From Earth video that CC posted, sh*t looked intense. I was like EARTH! Then I was like 'THIS IS EARTH?' I'm actually not liking the futuristic look of Earth now. Bailey described New York like policing a ward and I wanted to see THAT kind of Earth. Oh well too early to tell.

And a kid in the game. Another first of many.

Now I'm gonna watch the video above. YAY

PS: I HATE THE OMNI-BLADE

I don't know. Something about it just put me off. It looks really cheesy to me. They should make it available to the new Heavy Melee class only.

So I read Retribution again and I concur that Anderson is no longer a Councilor/Admiral.

Well lets face it, it can't look any worse than the scene from Arrival where Shepard knocks out two guys that are wearing full body armour with his/her bare hands tounge2.gif . I have never really gone for this Melee fighting stuff, if anyone gets close enough to my shep for me to use Melee then I obviously didn't shoot enough.

It has been a pretty quiet day news wise for ME 3. I think we have seen all that we are going to see game play wise now. According to David Silverman the head marketing guy the four demo trailers were :-

  1. The Reaper Chase Scene
  2. Combat Demo
So if you have seen all the above then you have seen all that there is at the moment. There has also been a few pictures taken by the team at E3 :-

Thanks for posting that video CC, it was a shame it didn't really have anything new but i guess it was nice to see all the demo gameplay they had in one long video as opposed to it being broke up.

Also I've pre-ordered my copy of the Collectors Edition, I can't wait until it comes out but I just wish I had the collectors edition for ME1 so I have all 3 by the time ME3 comes around.

I haven't seen the Gamespot stream other than the little bit about skill, but I remember that from the IGN stream yesterday. That would've been funnier had the guy not been such a huge dweeb. I kept thinking that I was watching a live-action Artie from the older episodes of The Simpsons... Does the Gamespot stream bring anything new to the table? Seems like they're rehashing the same two maps over and over. And will the interview with Hudson later tonight be fresh material?

By the way, is it just me or does the skill tree advancement screen look awfully 90s? I wonder how much it's going to change until the end.

Genuine enthusiasm: I was. Luckily Casey was joking about the possibility of adding them to the game. I'd hate to have to kill elcor.

I like everything I've seen so far. And I have a feeling the opening mission will be a blast. Just the fact that Anderson will accompany you really give you that feeling like this is really the beginning of the end [of Mass Effect trilogy], a full circle. Maybe it's just me but that's what I felt.

This is probably the game I want most from E3.

I will not be talking to a mic except in combat though...

It WOULD be nice if when you spoke, you didn't have to hear shepard do the same exact thing as if you just pushed the button - THEN it would be immersive... But saying takes longer than a button, for the same outcome, that's just corny.

Still gonna be awesome.
