almost unbeatable mission?

there is a mission I forget what its called but you have a shoot-out with the cops in like a old, building and you get like 3 or 5 stars. It says lose your wanted level. Yet the only way to lose a wanted level above 3 stars is Pay N Spray which you can't use because of GTA 4's stupid thing where the cops can't see you go in there because they won't fix your car, which defeats the purpose of the game, but anyway, the cops see you go in there because at all times there is a cruiser behind you and you never lose them. How can I lose my wanted level?

you only get 3 stars if you kill cops. try not killing them and jump in a car as soon as possible. then you get 2 stars and can easily escape.

and if you do get 3 stars, its not that hard to evade. you don't have to get into a spray n' spray. I say drive as fast as possible, don't shoot unless there's only one behind you, in which case shoot the driver and sprint(drive) out of the radius.

problems with the pay n' spray? you can't use police vehicles in there. get a civilian car, then get out of sight of the cops. then enter and you should be sweet.

Are you talking about snowstorm where you fight all the guys to get in, then steal the coke? Then you must run out and dodge all the cops?

If that's the mission, you can skip all the shootout at the beginning. Go around the back of the hospital and climb the ladder. Don't shoot anyone. Then go into the room with the coke,you have to shoot those 2 only, grab the coke and run out the front where you would normally run in. The cops are so busy shooting the dope dealers there that they don't shoot at you. Then when you get out, run right, towards the water. There is a boat there and it's easy to get away.

If it's another mission, the best way I have found to get away is in Algonquin at Star Junction. There are many alleys there in a row and the cops almost never follow you.

If you are having trouble getting away in general, look for alley ways and short cuts. Those are the best ways.

Also, to add to the list of evasion tactics:

 

Try not to travel in a straight line for too long. The game has a tendency to spawn cops ahead of your direction of travel. So, try to zig zag through the streets and alleys. This also makes it difficult for any pursuing cop cars; they don't like cornering. Use the same cornering techniques as you do in races, slow down for the corners, make certain of the turns and keep it neat and tidy.

 

Generally avoid the freeways and main roads, cop cars will pretty much keep pace with you in a straight line. Even if you're in a fast car, outright pace doesn't tend to do the job.

 

As said in the above post, if in Algonquin, use the series of alleyways that run North-South to the West of Star Junction. They provide good cover from helicopters.

 

Watch the radar for the positions of police vehicles and helicopters, predict when and where they'll be in order to time your movements and hide when necessary.

 

When you get out of the wanted zone, more often than not, it pays to slow to a near halt and wait for the 10 seconds to expire. Only keep going if the police are closing on your position.

 

Changing vehicle DOES work. The police will recognise you in a known vehicle from a block or two away. But if you change vehicle, they need to be very close to see your face behind the wheel. Usually, a police car coming the opposite way down a road (even quite a wide one) will recognise you in a new car. I've turned corners with a dab of handbrake in order to turn my back to a closing police car and they failed to spot me from the rear even though they got quite close.

 

Last resort, use the subway. You can drive your car through the barrier at Uranium and Frankfort to get onto the subway tracks.

 

If in a boat being pursued by helicopters, they are near impossible to lose in open water because they are too fast. Keep the throttle open so they can't shoot at you. Navigate your boat so you pass under the tallest part of the bridges and keep going. This causes the helis to have to climb to get past the bridges thus causing them to slow down.

 

I suggest practicing before undertaking missions to get a hang of the techniques. I do this by loading up an early GTA:IV savegame and driving along the walkway of the Algonquin Bridge to get to Algonquin before it's unlocked thus earning an instant and unloose-able 6 star wanted level. It may not be everyone's idea of fun, but I think it's a good way to learn how the wanted and police search system works and thus how to evade the law. Once you've learned how to deal with a 6 star level, 3 stars are relatively easy to handle.

There no mission that impossible. Go to the area and plan out your escape beforehand.Park you car in area thats not going to be overrun by cops.Then its solely down to your driving abilty.No one can help you with that.

i always use KIKI for wanted levels and in some hard missions i use Dwayne's boys

finish all mission in 3-5 attempts with that way, im in last chapter missions now, dont know if are harder those next

There is a Jetmax boat tied up near the Old Hospital. That's the easiest escape from Cops.

I don't see how. This is the easiest GTA made. I've beatin the game 4 or 5 times without using cheats. Besides it's funner.

Thats easy i did it first time going through the game.. Probably because im always going on rampages.. lol in free roam.
