gta spotter i should look at your router settings, i play bogt multiplayer most days (uk) and always find games with people in to play with and have consistiently done so for two years

 

the number of kids online is just as always and the release of call of duty wont affect play that much because the dedicated gta players have no interest in silly war games when there is more fun to be had in liberty city

 

 

and as for the original gta4 i was having full races just the other night, 14 /16 drivers all going hell for leather.

 

go play ur call of duty black rubbish... we wont miss ur whinning.

 

gta online is not dying a death, your router probably needs setting up properly!

Yeah I was on TBOGT mp lastnight my time and it was dead quiet too. It's possible there was something wrong with the servers because I was trying to join freemode and it kept shunting me to the one session with the host not having started it, and they wouldn't start it. I played a couple of races with one other dude then called it a night. watched DieHard

It always seems to happen when theres a new release. after all gta vanilla has been out for ages, and even the episodes have been out for 360 for ages too. There will always be those loyal to only gta ( or like me just cant afford the new releases) but as games get bigger and bigger each year its hard to see the gta online community growing.

ha yeah spot the young guys. 1stly in my country a new release cost more like $115.

and 2ndly I have a job, but I also have 2 kids,a Mrs, a house, 2 cars (gas is close to $2 a litre), insurance, power ,phone ,foodetc etc.

Life isnt really cheap chaps. Well at least not where I come from. Maybe if all you guys put $1 into my account then I could get something new . But hey as I was saying I still play 90% of my gaming time on gta4. It was a shame that episodes wasnt overly successful here on ps3

I started playing in january this year, things are as alive or dead as they ever were. on average you can get full games going fairly easily.

Yes I have noticed that.

 

I guess it is easier to get people together for player matches because you can invite and join in progress. Also, a lot of people have now ranked up already, which means there isn't really much difference. Getting AWP is going to be tricky now though to get ranked matches on some of the more obscure modes and to do enough races.

i just had a sneaky game this morning, at 10.30 am on psn/cops n crooks, was expecting it to be completely dead - but had some fun playing in big games, too bad it was just autoaim though! GTA- mp won't die until the nxt GTA!!! LA Noir looks good - if this has a version of cops n crooks i will be very

Although i enjoy TBOGT multiplayer it does p!ss me off with all them people and it's fun to go back to vanilla for some piece of mind

GTA IV is still very much alive, although some of the game modes are close to death. Trying to get into a good match of Turf War or Cops n' Crooks these days can be difficult, at least with disallow Auto-Aim (I never play AA so dunno about that) And also more noticable, Car jack City and Mafiya Wars are absolutely dead, but I don't think they were ever that popular.

As for EFLC. TLaD has been dead from the start, wit hthe exception of the first few days (PS3 version) Since everyone seemed to prefer the BoGT MP. In BoGT TDM/DM is DEAD (again Disallow AA) but finding a FM is no problem. So NO, IV MP is NOT dead, and I still play TDM and such and have a good time

I dont understand why they are not as poplular.To me team mafiya work is the best game type as in has all elemets of what GTA stands for.Gun fights and car chases but keeps in the spirit of the actual game with missions to complete all in the same game type. When I first saw that gta 4 would be an online multiplayer I went straight to team mafia work because it was what id always wanted to play...... gta with team mates.I cant see past it.There a few guys who share my views however unfortunatly there are two types of team mafiya player.I hate to mention it but im afraid its aa v disallow time again folks. In my opinion the guys who play disallow seem to show a more mature and sporting attitude when playing the game.They dont team stack or kick when things arent going their way.They really have sense of competition but not to the point wher it gets ugly. In aa games there seems to be a lot more feuds and bad blood and all round win at all cost attitude.If feel the game stalls a lot in aa.Anyone can stand on a corner in cover and cut off entire sections of the game area.Its just not fun.In disallow you can at least make an attempt at getting past.If they are good enough then you will still get shot but at least you have a chance. In disallow every game is different in AA its the same over and over with the same bullsh*t clans doing the same bullsh*t tactics that ive mentioned earlier.If that dont work they just invite more people into the game to make sure they win.

 

Ive put up a post looking for players who may want to play disallow team mafiya work so check it out if you are interested. Dont get me wrong its difficult to start with but theres room for all types of player.If the shootings not going well focus on the driving and doing missions afterall the misions get you more money than killing people.If you are thinking about it I can normally be found in disallow room on PSN.

 

Ill only engage in autoaim if my friends are online and we cant get a disallow game.Then Im selective. I wont be cannon fodder for 10* players who wont man up and use raw skill to shoot rather than an aimbot.I wont entertain clans or guys ive had previous altercations with for previously mentioned reasons.I wont play autoaim in bohan if there more than 6 players in the game.You cant move.... The map area is too small.Everyone just hogs the center area then its goodnight to a good game. I wont play with players who use glitches such as the armoured van and ambulance to rack up cheap kills.Ive seen guys not even get in a car once but hang around on corners taking liberties with an m4 the ps3 doing all the work for them.Its so depressing.

 

My advice for a good game of Team Mafiya Work ....Play with me and my friends lol.If thats not your particular brand of vodka then try this.....

Everthing else is personal choice but having the cops on just makes the game laggy

 

Before anyone has go at me for not respecting thier beloved auto aim.Save it im not here for that.Im expressing opinion on the current amount of people playing in my favourite game type.Im also giving some reasons to give it a shot and get the games going again.Not everyone is like me...ill sit and wait for as long as it takes to get a good game of disallow.Rather than play AA. One thing I have to point out is... If your new to the game your gonna get shot up more on aa then in disallow.There is no advantge for you.The guys who play aa know it inside out so the fact you can lock on to them aint going to change the fact that they will still beat you and beat you well.They know exactly where to stand on each map so you have no chance of getting to the missions.This include myself but I dont play the game that way.I know all the tricks too but I dont use them out of sporting spirit.If someone out-guns me then out-drives me then they deserve to win the game.They dont deserve to win it having the ps3 aiming up for them. They dont deserve to win the game if they have used a glitch to get an armoured van that they are not supposed to have.This happens in disallow too but not in a game im in or my friends.I apologise if im moaning like a bitch here but im absolutely sick of autoaim tactics and so are my friends.

 

Why not give disallow a chance at least you can get the missions done until you are confident at shooting.There is no benefit in playing aa over disallow except the lobbies have more people.Which is why im posting here.

On another note im more than aware that the game has been out for almost 3 years now and that desire to play it may be fading even more. However it looks as though we might not see a new GTA until 2012 or 2013 so its a long time away.If you are still interested in playing gta why not jump in and have a few games with us.If you are going to add please send an add but put in a message to say you have read this..

One game with a chance of killing off gta 4 is gran turismo 5, which comes out in a few days, I imagine you with be able to race each others fully modified saxos, clios, scoobies, evos ect online. Can't wait for this
