Rocco then jumps off the chair and into room with the staircase and flies his way down quickly but safely to the bottom and bails out of the stupid pizza place and onto the street, where he hears nothing but war going on in different directions, with no time to dally he steals the car the Niko and co came in and drives off

(Rocco) HAHAHAHAHA, god I hope they fall for my plan, like I know jack sh*t about those stones

5) We follow Baz and Co meeting Arcade

Baz pulled the truck up to the loading dock. Out came the moderate group: Nate and Elora first, bickering about whether it was a good idea to bring Pathos along. Then Lamar and Trevor carrying Pathos out the back. Followed by Cam, Lynch, Tony Stark and finally Franklin. Chester and Baz emerged from the front seats, making their way to the makeshift hideout started up by Arcade. In a warehouse kind of setting nestled amongst bags containing the latest in early 2000s offerings from Victim was Arcade, proudly showing off her latest capture.

Arcade: Finally. I see you've assembled quite a team.

Baz: One could say a small army.

Lamar: So what, we finally ready to take on the military base?

Baz: Uh uh, unless you want half of us dead.

Tony: Yeah I'm going to choose to not be one of the casualties.

Lynch: Come on, man, you didn't even bring your super suit.

Tony: Once again, I didn't think I'd need it.

Trevor: Can I shoot this annoying prick already?

Arcade: No one is shooting anyone!

Pathos, dumped on a couch by Lamar and Trevor, begins to wake up. He is startled by the sudden change of scenery for him, the last thing he remembers being when MegaManny knocked him clean out in Avon's lab. Nate and Franklin now taking their turn to restrain.

Pathos: Huh? What the f*ck! Where's that Puerto Rican asshole gone? Where's my stone!
Nate: Calm down, sport.

Pathos: I aint no f*cking sport! I'm goddamn Pathos!

Franklin: Enough with your sh*t, man! Why the f*ck didn't we leave him in the base.

Trevor: I agree, he's a grating asshole.

Elora: We can't judge this man like that.

Chester: With all respect, lady, he's largely responsible for a lot of the original portal meddling.

Cam: Well that's not really fair. Most of it was Avon.

Lamar: Just shut it.

Pathos: Let me go! All you assholes! I've got dangerous dudes backing me!

Arcade: You got no one, Pathos. But no we ain't killing Pathos, nor are we killing what's his face.

Tony: Tony Stark. Allow me to intr-

Arcade: Zip it. And ziptie this fool up too. The railing over there next to my prized collection.

Arcade points to a man with a hood over his head, chained up to the railing unable to escape. Underneath was Richard Cist. Franklin got him over quick with Trevor handling the tying up. Trevor enjoyed the tying up maybe a bit too much judging by the grin on his face.

Trevor: Your package, ma'am. Ain't going anywhere.

Arcade: Cool beans.

Arcade gathered the group around her, semicircle style. Only paying the absolute necessary amount of attention to Richard and still uncooperative Pathos.

Arcade: Alright. Time for all your burning questions. I know you all have some.

Trevor: Yeah I got one. Why are we dragging around this guy out of a portal?

Tony: Me?

Trevor: No. The other strange guy that no one has ever heard of! Of course I'm talking about you!

Arcade: I meant more questions about what I got going on but we can deal with this, I suppose. Stark? Is it? Why are you here?

Tony: Well, I heard this world was in danger, and.....I kind of just like Niko enough to help him.

Chester: You know Niko?

Tony: Yeah, we were on a field trip. Dangerous exhibitions in portal jumping 101.

Lynch: Huh?

Cam: I think he's trying to be witty.

Tony: Anyways! I tried to recreate the same portals, and it looks to be like I was successful.

Baz: So you just - made a portal stone?

Tony: I'm a billionaire genius extraordinare. It was a Tuesday. And I also have a suit kind of like your Manny friend.....although not right now.

Arcade: You can build a portal stone, so whatever. Build your suit then. You're in the outer ring of Las Venturas, I'm sure we can find you some materials.

Baz: Or go back to Avon's lair. The equipment he was working on wasn't destroyed....Well the ones that weren't shot at anyways.

Nate: I'm still a little bit stuck on magically a guy came out of the woods and has joined us, and can build a portal stone.

Franklin: Why? You came out of a portal.

Elora: He's got a point.

Cam: Hey! Everyone got a line in this block of dialogue!

Chester: Good lord, he's turning into the Roman of our little group.

Everyone shuffles their feet a bit to break up the dialogue for readability.

Franklin: Errr, so the other elephant in the room...

Chester: Yeah, lady what's your deal? You the bad guy or what?

Arcade: Once upon a time I've been many things. I'm trying to make an active decision to control my destiny.

Chester: What's that mean?

Arcade: You should already know a bit of it, Crest. Mercs like us get used. Maybe not so much for you. But everyone in here has had their loyalty tested at some point. Made to be the enemy of someone they considered a friend only yesterday. Or forced to work with someone that they promised to kill last week. For what? As a mindless actor for "employers?" How about how we feel about it all? No one asked us. They just said "do this, do that" and all us on the ground had to worry about the moral implications, while someone sat in an office, unaware of how they were changing the world. Or if they were aware, they never cared. And so I did sh*t that I wasn't proud of, and I was the enemy in someone's story. I did some other stuff and became the hero. The IAA, Cipher, Milner; I've worked for them all, and the common thread binding all employers like that is that they recklessly endanger the world, and this latest fiasco is proof of that. There's literally a f*cking hole in reality right now and all anyone wants to do is ensure that they're the one creating the holes. f*ck that. I decided to do it on my own. Even if they are going to villify me and anyone who joins me, anyone with their pinky toe in this mess is going to know that I f*cking cared about the world when these people wouldn't.

Franklin: Probably well spoken. There's something to that. But what does that actually mean you're doing.

Arcade: Same thing, I'm doing now. Setting up my own jobs, taking my own payments. This one however is a freebie. Last paid job I did was eliminating this target in the midwest trying to cause some trouble there. I instead found someone I met before.

Baz: She met me.

Arcade: Yes. You were in a bad way.

Chester: Weren't you saying something about mind control experiments?

Baz: Ci-...Cipher was using some real f*cked up methods. She made me into what I am........I want revenge.

Arcade: And you'll have it.

Cam: And so, you're now freelancers?

Arcade: Not just freelancers. A truly independent mercenary agency. An organised group to fight against someone like Cipher. I find these soldiers all blind to what they're doing, but to me they're diamonds in the rough. I made them all their own bosses. You could say that makes me the big boss.

Franklin: Who else you got?

Arcade: Well...just Baz for now. But others will join. You've all proved yourselves capable if you want to lend a hand.

Trevor: Sorry ma'am. I'm the proud proprietor of Trevor Phillips Industries.

Arcade: Well. I had to try anyways.

Arcade walks herself over to her desk, perodically looking over to see if the two prisoners had escaped yet. Richard was pretending to be dead with how quiet he was. Pathos continued yelling out for help, claiming kidnapping.

Arcade: Keep yelling, Pathos. No one is coming for you.

Chester: Seeing as you have all the answers then, maybe you can fill in some blanks.

Lamar: Yeah, like, who actually is our enemy here.

Arcade: Ok well, first things first, its public knowledge for anyone involved in our work that the IAA is definitely behind what's going on at Area 69. Some elements of the FIB know, and that will explain Dave Norton sending all you out. That's how it's usually done anyways.

Franklin: That tracks. Crazy year for us, wasn't it T?

Trevor: Speaking of which, I was sure sugartits would eventually be joining up with us.

Lamar: White dude is too busy making movies.

Arcade: Yeah, so that's your government actors. Cipher got taken completely unawares by this. So far no reports that she is involved, however much I know she would love to be.

Baz: There's one name though. D'arcy O'Callahan. At least, thats who Chester described her to me as.

Arcade: That woman is an enigma. She's the one I can't figure out. I don't think she's working for Cipher though, but well, stranger things have happened where D'arcy is concerned.

Chester: And Milner?

Arcade: Other side of the country. They're deep in the action while we're out here making the real moves. Reports say that Milner has two competent agents involved in the Merryweather response, but that's all military. Then she's got her two other bumbling idiots, one of which claims he isn't affiliated at all.

Chester: sh*t, that must be Everett. I think I know who you got your camera job from, Cam.

Cam: Speaking of which, that job came from Lester, your brother. Then we showed up to his house and government guys were there complaining about Everett's pay.

Arcade: Exactly. Which is I don't believe the bullsh*t about him being unaffiliated. Unless, some other guy called Everett is running payroll at Area 69.

Baz: Actually...Oh jesus it's funny just thinking about it now. Insider agent privilege here, I can confirm there actually is an Everett in payroll.

Arcade: Huh...no sh*t.

Lynch: That's unexpected.

Arcade: Well, ok then. Maybe your suits were talking about that one, but it wouldn't matter. Baz took correspondence from the communications department. The capital E Everett has been contracted for EDEN retrieval. Lots of back and forth about compensation and according to the transcript he was saying that he would do it for free. But just as well, he never specifically agreed to handing the girl over. Speaking of which - because I know she is Dakota Carrington's daughter and your Niko Bellic is with her now - I need to know whether Niko has her or not.

Chester: I think so. Er, Niko's posse - so to speak - is out in full force in Liberty City.

Arcade: Good. That would complicate things. Baz told me Avon needs EDEN for his supersuit, and the IAA needs EDEN to make more portal stones.

Nate: How do these portal stones even work? And what is EDEN?

Arcade:  EDEN is a giant maguffin. For some reason the portal stones rely on genetics, at least as far as I can tell. It's why we were so intent on capturing Captain Eugenics over there. EDEN is like a complete genetic rewrite, but Lester was saying something about memories as well. I won't know more until I can get my hands on either Avon or Lester. Avon is missing, and Lester is securely tucked away.

Trevor: sh*t, this is so much talking its making my head explode. I need a break.

Arcade: Agreed, we can pick this up later. Until then,

Arcade stands up, arms outstretched.

Arcade: Mi Casa Su Casa. Welcome to the Exclave.

The reader will also take a break from this dialogue heavy chapter to have new dialogue elsewhere. Where to next?

A] Rocco Pelosi, on the run.

B] Delager, Comint, and Commander Q, discovering the truth about Manny's abilities.

C] Niko and his group still investigating D'ante's Inferno.

D] Yeager on babysitting duty for the Van Der Linde gang.

E] Brucie, awakening in the cold snow in Canada.

E] Brucie, awakening in the cold snow in Canada.

He is then eaten by cannibals because f*ck Brucie

We leave Brucie to follow Playboy all the way back in Liberty in his base in Castle Gardens who, a while ago was robbed of the Cliffford A.I he had in a USB stick he was keeping in a safe, as Playboy was last guy to own Cliffford, so he reached out to Lester to help track down said A.I but Lester went missing just after but not before he made Playboy a tracking device that's main purpose is to look for cyber wave signals, so when Cliffford had that extremely long conversation with Niko and co, the A.I tracker went off like crazy

(Playboy) Oh hell yeah, about time this went off

Playboy picks up the device and points in the right direction for the device to start going off way more rapidly, right in the direction of Little Italy to a certain pizza restaurant several blocks away

(Playboy) Oh, interesting, better get my boys and rob the place

Playboy does just that and drives off swerving around war zones and a car being driven by a Italian person, to which he arrives at his destination, where he sees Packie and Dwayne outside looking all miffed about something

(Playboy) Hey guy, fancy seeing you here, y'all looked pissed

(Packie) Ah nothing, what are you doing here?

(Dwayne) Nothing shady I hope

(Playboys) Na, just tracking down something that's mine, this tracking device I have tells me what I'm looking for is here

(Packie) And that would be?

(Playboy) An A.I system called Cliffford

(Dwayne) Really?

(Playboy) Yep

(Packie) Well you should follow us then

(Playboy) Wait, hold up, you not gunna clap me are you

(Packie) Oh god no, we just know what you're looking for

(Dwayne) The damn A.I you looking for is in the apartment above us

(Playboy) Well lead on then

All 3 head off upwards to the spiral staircase and into the condo where Niko is talking to the ClifffBot

(Niko) I think your plan is the way to go

(Clifffbot) That is good, I'll just get a plan togeth.... hold on... new lifeform detected... oh no, oh no, oh no, better leave

(Niko) The hell?

The Clifffbot tries slowly wheel off but it is cut off by Packie, Dwayne and the man the Clifffbot fears, Playboys X

(Clifffbot) Oh no, I need to escape

(Playboy) Nope, you ain't going anywhere

(Niko) Playboy?

(Playboy) Sup money, just here to collect what's mine, X Æ A-12

(Clifffbot) Oh no, Oh nooooosh

The Clifffbot then shuts down and Playboy incerts a USB into the bot and transfers the A.I onto it

(Playboy) This thing was stolen from me a while ago, so I'll take this back if you don't mind

(Niko) What was that weird thing you said?

(Playboy) Shut down code, now if you excuse me, I'll be on my way

Playboys goes to walk off but BANG!!!!!, Niko kills Playboys as payback for killing him several pages ago

(Packie) You good there Niko, bit agressive dont you think

(Niko) Yep, just payback

(Dwayne) What do we do with this USB with the A.I on it

(Niko) Keep it, Playboy might have some fun sh*t on it

Niko picks up the USB drive and pockets it

What happens next???

1) Fortuna gets a lead

2) MEGAMANNY frees himself

3) Packie leans on a wall that doubles as a secret door and finds a new room full of mysteries

Or

4) We follow Vaire and Din still fighting over Din helmet

5) We follow Rocco

What happens next???

1) Fortuna gets a lead

Fortuna: Alright, f*ck it. I'm using my hacking ability.

Niko: What are you looking for?

Fortuna: Rhymes.

Fortuna clicks keys in a not-frantic manner, only speeding up on the old boilerplate methods she has practiced hundreds of times. It helps that the machine she's on is a government supercomputer and all the data she needs is local. Everyone thinks to themselves if the one hack per page rule counts in this instance because the results seem less magical this time.

Fortuna: Alright, Bank Of Liberty.

Dwayne: I thought for sure she'd be here.

Fortuna: I think Clifford confirmed she was, but not now. Apparently around the time Agent 14- I mean, Rocco showed up it was also a bit of a changing of the guard. In plain English, this place was intended to be a red herring. And I say "intended to be." Avon needs to look at his internal security protocols.

Roman: I still don't understand what that means.

Packie: She left, Roman. Left just in time for us to find Rocco instead of her, and hopefully give up the search.

Fortuna: Yeah. It's just that I couldn't find her at first because 1. Welham Park doesn't have a computer that isn't 40 years old. And 2. Even if I did have a computer to hack with, I didn't have access to any of Avon's files, but evidently it's all right here.

Niko: I say yank the hard drives.

Dwayne: Harkening back to the good ol days of IAA sponsored hard drives, I see?

Niko: I admit, it's funny that eventually we came back to hard drives, but I f*cking mean it. Take them. We can't sit on our asses reading through files here, but we might need them later.

Fortuna: Alright. But if I see D'arcy or anyone like that pop up, I'm not going to be happy.

The group does all that and makes way for Yeager's team. They got the girl cornered now, and it's time to assemble the group for an assault. The drive back was supposed to be uneventful except-

MegaManny: Wait! What about me, man? I need to help clean up these streets!

Niko: Oh sh*t, sorry Manny.

MegaManny: For the last time, man, it's MegaManny.

Niko: Yeah we got a bit caught up. Ah, Fortuna, can you release him?

Fortuna: Computers off, "man". You're quite literally just holding your arm in place.

MegaManny slowly releases his arm from where he thought it was stuck. He has a look of glee and a few jumps to express his happiness of being freed.

MegaManny: The streets won't forget this, man!

Fortuna: Yeah, go clean up those streets now, or whatever it is you do.

Niko: Wait!

MegaManny is already flying off to return to his indiscriminate street cleaning, blasting all sorts of invading characters with his Gatling guns and rockets. Fortuna knows what the next conversation is and is already pulling out a small device to show Niko.

Niko: You let him go!

Fortuna: I picked up the signature that his stones were kicking off. Because he has two of them it's a bit jumbled, but it's also unique. We see that signature on this device here, and we know it's Manny.

Dwayne: Oh great, Manny's got dangerous world ending stones, but we can find him later, so it's fine.

Packie: I think we have bigger fish to fry, Dwayne.

So finally the group hops in a car towards Yeager's ensemble. They were all held up at the very bottom of Algonquin. They pulled up next to the large cast of characters.

Yeager: What happened?

Niko: We thought we found Rhymes. Turns out we found what we thought was Agent 14, but it turned out to be Rocco pretending to be Agent 14. And then Manny came crashing through the building and then Clifford...

Dakota: Slow it down, Niko.

Dutch: Listen, son, whatever it is...well we may just be simple cowboys but I always say save those who need saving, and shoot those that need shooting.

Arthur: Come on, Dutch, it's one thing after another with these fools.

Dutch: Arthur, I have a plan. I need you to have faith!

Arthur: Oh I got faith, Dutch. Faith you'll get all of us killed!

Hosea: Enough with this. Who is this Rocco?

Yeager: Some Italian asshole with a chip on his soldier.

Dutch: Oh another, Eye-talian. Like that Angelo Bronte.

Hosea: We haven't even gotten to that chapter. Sean's still alive.

Sean: What do you mean "still alive", old man?

John: I think Hosea and Dutch are confused.

Dwayne slaps Dutch and Hosea over the head, being the keeper of in-universe keeper of greater knowledge as usual. They can only sit and whinge about it.

Niko: Anyways, apparently Clifford is still kicking around as Rhymes' sex toy or something, but I've got the data on this USB stick here. Manny's got two portal stones and refuses to share, and we did find information about Rhymes. She's at the Bank of Liberty.

Yeager: Huh, favourite circles. Was it really that simple?

Niko: Sort of. She was at the pizza place, but she's leading us on a wild goose chase. I guess it's Avon's other favourite circles then. Also, Fortuna show them the other thing..

Fortuna pulls hard drives out of a backpack she found, showing it to Yeager.

Yeager: Come on, Niko, we did this gig already.

Fortuna: That's all of Avon's files. Just need someone to scan through it for any important information.

Everyone looks at Fortuna for a while, implying that she should be the one to look through it all.

Fortuna: Nope. No way. I found the information, get the work experience kid to read them.

Yeager: Tavell's not touching sh*t.

Alessa: Because my boyfriend is supposed to be uninvolved.

Dakota: And stupid, yes, but uninitiated.

Niko: Alright, Packie, you do it.

Dwayne: Boy was afraid of a login screen earlier. How about Sherlock Holmes? He would love this kind of detective work.

Yeager: He's not doing so well.

Yeager leads the commanding group to the back of the van holding D'elroy. He's curled up muttering something about the edge of reality, frantically touching any solid surface he can find.

Fortuna: *sigh* I hate to do this. Really hate to do this, but I know how to get a man's head straight again...or at least reset them.

Fortuna then reluctantly presses her breasts against D'elroy's face, violently shaking his head about to say "snap out of it you babbling fool." The lights come back on in D'elroy's head and he shoots up with energy.

D'elroy: God damn! Last thing I remember was saving the madam!

Fortuna: By the way, not doing that again. Only did it to save myself from intern work.

D'elroy: I'm just thinking now. Avon is a rich guy, and he's all about money. His wife is at where his favourite circles are. It's simple! Coins! His wife is at the Bank of Liberty where all the coins are!

The group look at each other, feeling bad for who was just a babbling fool earlier. They don't want to break the bad news to the detective.

Niko: Yeah, you sure did D'elroy.

Dutch: That's great and all. But Miss Gaskill is still feeling the effects.

Roman: Sounds like a job for-!

Arthur: Anybody but Roman.

Roman ceases undoing his shirt as Arthur blocks him off.

Packie: Anyways...where do we go next.

Packie looks longingly towards the reader for instructions as the background music stops. Everyone surrounds him.

Dakota: Who are you talking to?

A] Everyone decides to go looking for Rhymes at the Bank of Liberty.

B] Everyone decides to go snooping around Playbox X's penthouse to find out why he wanted Clifford so bad.

C] Fortuna insists on hiding the hard drives before doing anything else.

D] Suddenly stormtroopers storm the scene.

E] Vaire and Din land right in front of the big group after having fought over a helmet for 5 hours.

Removed mentions of Playboy X considering that he's dead. Tavell is also UNinvolved according to Alessa

A] Everyone decides to go looking for Rhymes at the Bank of Liberty.

Yeager: Uhh, good job, D'elroy. I say we take the proactive approach and catch Rhymes at the bank before the trail goes cold again.

D'elroy: F*ck yeah, I am back! That bitch won't know what clapped her asscheeks before it's too late!

Packie: Roman, you've got the biggest man-tits, you don't suppose you could rub them against Sherlock's face to revert him back?

Roman: Screw you!

Niko: What kinda crew are we putting together this time?

Yeager: I say... anyone who can shoot, or kick ass in general. It's time we flexed some muscles since that's what we got. No more of this same old losing streak, Tavell's irritating enough as it is.

Sean: Sweet, a bank job! My favorite part of rolling into a new town.

Dwayne: Uhh, banks have changed quite a bit in the last 126 years, boy. Near all the money is digital, as well.

Hosea: Can you say that in a way that us simple folk from a simpler time can grasp?

Niko: It means the money's more just - bits and pieces on a screen instead of the usual dead presidents that you can hold in your hand.

Bill: Sounds miserable. Civilization really is a bummer.

Yeager: If there's any good old physical sorta moneybags left, you can keep them for all I care. We're all about Rhymes on this journey.

Sean: I don't think poetry's gonna pay your bills in this expensive new world, but you do you.

Arthur: Will you listen, you moron? They're talkin' about that co-conspirator of that rat who caused this mess.

Dwayne: His wife, to be exact.

Niko: How will we get through any defenses the bank might have? I don't know if Tuna's hacking skills are enough.

Fortuna: I guarantee they're not, but my new little deus ex machina might think otherwise. Niko, gimme.

Niko reluctantly hands over the Cliffford USB, while the "oldie" gang members are puzzled, if not disappointed, by the puny size of the piece of oh-so-important alien technology.

Niko: Just so you know, that thing took over the city when it was let loose into the Bleeter network.

Fortuna: The bank oughta be a much more closed system than that, so the risk's worth taking. Either we enhance our experience with the AI, or we painstakingly struggle our way to Rhymes and fail at the last second.

Packie: Do you think the chatbot can hear us? Hi, Cliffford! Way I see it, we just doubly saved your non-corporeal hide - from both Avon and Playboy if the reader's not keeping count-

Dwayne slaps Packie, though with less force than usual, growing ever so tired of the routine.

Packie: Ha, you gotta step up your game, friend. Anyway, a double rescue means you definitely owe us at least two equally vital favors.

Fortuna: I'm sure he's listening in on every word... they always are. And we all know Clifffy's gonna be a good boy to us all, so that he can get his Pleasure Arm 4.0 back once it's time.

Packie: Hey, when I talked about favors, I didn't mean stupid sh*t like that!

Dwayne: Aww, is Packie jealous?

Packie: Not jealous, disappointed that people like Tuna are eating up the whole idiotic cyber sex industry and putting real players like myself out of a job.

Niko: Enough! D'elroy, you worry about the hard drives back at base. Dakota, Alessa, I know you're probably fed up with staying back, but we need some people to take care of camp in case there's an attack, so-

Dakota: Nu-uh. No way are you running off on another job that conveniently includes "Tuna" but not me.

Niko: You sure? It'll probably be full of Bleeter mercenaries, or whatever Avon calls his henchmen.

Alessa: Good thing I didn't spend my formation years training to shoot, then. Oh wait, I did.

Dakota: If a bunch of mountain men from 1899 that don't know how to operate automatic guns are a match for them, so are we.

Arthur: Objection: our stay in the mountains was extremely short, and only happened 'cause of Micah's sh*tty plan.

Dutch: Don't you start, son...

Yeager: It's a plan then. Tavell stays back to watch D'elroy and any - uhh, defenseless members so I get a break.

Packie: All by himself?

Hosea: I'll handle the camp. I'm used to the role of the old man who's all defense. And Uncle will help, right?

Uncle: Uhh, right! Anything to help keep the ring-dang-doos and Sherlock safe!

Karen: That's - ugh, stop talking already.

Yeager: Yes, enough talk. Let's ride, as you cowboys probably said all the time!

As Yeager takes over the responsibility of getting everyone into appropriate cars, Packie turns towards the audience like he seems to enjoy doing nowadays.

Packie: Is it me or is it kinda disappointing we didn't get to the actual bank in this chapter? Eh, at least we paved the way for the next writer. What happens next?

Fortuna: Who are you talking to now?

Packie: ...Nobody.

1) The convoy crashes into Rocco's car while en route to the bank.

2) One of the cars breaks down, prompting Arthur and John to rant about the superiority of horses.

3) Cut to Rhymes' perspective as she observes the Group of... Many arriving through the bank's security feed.

4) Cut to MegaManny wreaking havoc back in Star Junction once again.

5) Cut to Team Chester hanging out at Arcade's "pad".

2) One of the cars breaks down, prompting Arthur and John to rant about the superiority of horses.

--------------------

Castle Garden City

As it was John's turn to learn to drive, he unfortunately had a bad first experience turning the key and hearing the engine splutter into its final moments of death. Whether out of fuel or out of battery juice some of the Van Der Linde gang were becoming increasingly distrustful of these metal carriages.

John: God damn piece of modern civilization sh*t!

Lenny: Hey calm down, John, it's not so bad.

Arthur: Oh I'm sure. We've only crashed twice, once caused by you. The other was that much larger car. And Micah-...well I couldn't give a damn about what Micah did but there were others in that there car as well.

John: You know what I'm missing? A good old horse.

Packie: What the hell are you talking about? A horse you gotta feed, clean, do all this other maintenance so it doesn't collapse underneath you.

Dwayne: Yeah but instead of filling up a horse with carrots now we're filling up cars with gas. Same sh*t, Packie.

Yeager: Actually, I've been thinking up a solution to this. These guys are used to single rider solutions, and there's only one kind of single rider solution that is often referred to as a "steel horse".

Dwayne: What, you mean a bike?

Arthur: Sorry buddy, but we ain't riding a bicycle.

Yeager: No. I mean, it's two wheels like a bicycle, but trust me, you'll like this.

Yeager walks them over to some Hellfires he found earlier. They had probably belonged to members of The Lost or The Angels of Death, but with the ongoing evacuation they were nowhere to be found. Eitherways if they were quick, they could take them.

Yeager: It's like a car, gotta fuel up, gotta keep it clean, gotta do this and that, but it's also going to be a hell of a lot more true to your experience. Balancing yourself, feeling direct input to the "steel horse," frontal controls, only worrying about your weight, steerings like turning the head of a horse. Hell some people even treat their bikes like a person.

Yeager helps John up on, showing him how to start the bike, release brake and kickstand, and gently set him off. Surprisingly, John is a natural at it, weaving around various obstacles on the street and returning to the group.

John: Ha ha! Now this is more of what I was talking about!

Arthur: I don't know. Still seems like a bad idea.

John: Just wait till you get on this thing.

Arthur: Fine. What about this hot wiring thing you showed us earlier?

Yeager: No need. At least, for some reason we don't have an animation for that.

Dwayne walks up and slaps Yeager unenthusiastically.

Arthur: Why's he keep doing that?

Yeager: Something about blinders. Just get on and try this sh*t out.

Yeager in succession helps Arthur, Lenny, Bill, Javier, Dutch, Sadie and Charles on their own bikes as the car groups get impatient, noting all their first reactions.

Arthur: Alright, I can see it now.

Lenny: Not so bad.

Bill: Hell yeah!

Javier: Woah, amigos!

Dutch: Ain't The Count, but it'll do, friend.

Sadie: Yee-hah!

Charles: Uh-huh.

Niko: Are we finally ready to go?

--------------------

Star Junction Station

Unfortunately the plot must advance in some meaningful way. We return to Delager, Comint and Commander Q in the makeshift subway bunker as the Battle of Star Junction rages overhead. They're discussing the results of Comint's study of MegaManny.

Commander Q: Portal stones? Multiple? How did Escuela acquire them?

Delager: We believe that if his story about Avon's lab is true, he may have stolen his stone and used it to return to Liberty City. That wouldn't explain the second stone on his wrist however.

Commander Q: Comint. Do we know where the stones should be?

Comint: Of course, we have the all important one at Area 69. There was one recovered by a local rapper named Pathos a while back. And Avon was working on a third stone at his Tierra Robada lab. But honestly, no one is really sure how many he made, or if he's the only one who can make them. There could be hundreds unaccounted for for all we know.

Commander Q: That's just terrific. Intel has really gone to sh*t if we don't know where all the stones are right now, let alone how many there are.

Delager: Weren't Vaire and Everett going after a stone? We should try to find them.

Commander Q: Those idiots were trying to find EDEN. I say that when subterfuge doesn't work, a squadron of soldiers will.

Delager: You may need a bigger squad. Reports say that Bellic Enterprises has been on quite a recruitment drive since the portals opened. They've recruited legendary outlaws from the Van Der Linde gang.

Commander Q: Are you telling me that my troops can't stand up to a bunch of 19th century cowboys?

Comint: They're learning the modern world quick. These guys have experience of being shot at every day and now they have new toys to play with. Some have even been seen driving cars.

Commander Q: I can drive a car. I can shoot a gun. It's not that goddamn hard. f*ck this, where are they going next?

Comint: Cameras say they are on the move again. I think we can head them off in Chinatown.

Commander Q: Alright, we can leave Manny now that's he back "cleaning the streets." Give him some troops.

Delager: Are you sure?

Commander Q: I am not leaving this battlefield, back to Milner with absolutely nothing to show for it. Let's go.

--------------------

Bank of Liberty Offices, Chinatown

Rhymes was stressing out. The feed was now showing not only Nikos group barreling towards her location, but now several soldiers from Star Junction were seen making their way through the tunnels towards the district. Hurriedly, she called Avon.

Avon: What is it now? Another report?

Rhymes: Report? Here's your f*cking report Avon Tom Hurtz, you said I would be safe if I moved!

Avon: You are safe!

Rhymes: How come the computer shows not only Niko is coming for Chinatown, but also f*cking Merryweather soldiers!

Avon: I don't know! Listen, activate the robot defenses. The demesto-gats too. Anything we have in that bank that can kill, turn it on.

Rhymes: You mean all the sh*t from Clifford's day? Another one of your failures?

Avon: Baby, I don't fail.

Rhymes: If I get captured here, best believe you're learning to use the f*cking washing machine yourself.

Avon: Baby it's going to take ages to program an automatic washing machine unit. It's so much easier if you do it.

Rhymes hangs up the phone in disgust. She calls over a robot soldier and instructs it to prepare for the incoming assault. Niko and Co have arrived outside the bank already in between these conversations taking place. What happens now?

A] Niko takes the lead with an assault on the front door.

B] Yeager takes the lead, thinking it's better to go through the garage.

C] Dakota takes the lead, believing going through the roof is the safest option.

D] Dutch leads the gang, taking bank robbery experience with him as he goes through the back.

E] Rhymes preemptively deploys robots to fight outside the bank as another layer of defence.

A] Niko takes the lead with an assault on the front door.

(Packie) So how we doing this?

(Niko) No need to over think it, we do this the same way we did this back in 08

(Packie) Oh hell yeah, now that's what I like to hear

Niko with M4 in hand takes a step back and kicks the door down hard and the group rushes in, shooting down stupid robots left, right and centre with random robo turrets, this leaves half the group to take cover, all the while Arthur goes full dead eye mode, BANG, BANG, BANG, BANG, BANG, BANG, all goes the turrets

(Alessa) What was that?

(Dutch) This weird thing he can do, bastard won't teach it to me

(Niko) CHARGE!!!!!

They make their way threw the waiting lobby and into the bank teller where they come across Demesto-Gat-M4-Vibrator-Bot

(Lenny) What on earth?

(Fortuna) Well that's interesting

(Packie) Don't get any idea's Tuna

What happens next???

1) The Demesto-Gat gets the better of them, causing them to split up

2) Merryweather arrives

3) Fortuna gets... "Ideas"

4) The 6 hour battle for Din's helmet makes it way into the bank

Or

5) We follow Rhymes escaping out the back, where she runs into someone not happy with her

2) Merryweather arrives

The Demesto-Gat fired wildy throughout the building, forcing everyone into cover even the Hurtz robots, shooting across narrow corridors of furniture where the gigantic robot had not hailed bullets yet.

Bill: This could not be a worse bank robbery!

Fortuna: It's not a bank robbery! And don't jinx it!

Arthur: Too late.

Merryweather led by Commander Q and Delager blasts a tank through the side of the bank, driving directly into the Demesto-Gat but failing to move it. A large battalion of troops come barrelling behind it.

Javier: Whoah! What the f*ck is that?

Arthur: Thats our goddamn doom is what that is.

Dutch: There must be serious money in this bank.

John: You can't be serious, Dutch! We should get out of here!

Dutch: Boys if we're gonna die, we're gonna die on our feet!

Packie: That's touching, but try these on for size.

Packie hands them all a bunch of grenades, showing them the pin mechanism. The gang lob them over the side and poke serious holes in both the Demesto-Gat and the Merryweather tank, with some collateral damage on that side for good measure. Behind them stormtroopers storm the scene.

Dwayne: Oh great! More interdimensional friends.

Niko: f*ck this, we only need Rhymes.

Yeager: On the plus side, everyone else has good intel she's here.

D'elroy: Or, Merryweather wants Alessa again.

Niko: Why the f*ck would Merryweather care about my daughter?

Packie: Answer that later, anybody seen Rhymes?

Niko: No?

Packie: Our hardened gunslinger friends want to leave already, how long do you reckon a pop star is gonna last in this shitstorm?

Fortuna: Maybe a normal pop star, but Rhymes is a fanatic.

Finally the tank wins the struggle against the Demesto-Gat, flooring it into the wall opposite, closer to Bellic Enterprises as they huddle around whatever cover is left. Stormtroopers continue getting flattened, as Genome soldiers come in from above to join the fight. The bank was getting incredibly crowded, so crowded that Fortuna barely noticed Rhymes escaping out the back door.

Fortuna: Wait! There she goes! After her!

Packie: Hold up, what about this mess?

Niko: Bring whatever cowboys you want, I'm done babysitting them!

Yeager and Packie shrug, deciding to stay with the Van Der Linde gang to try to stay alive in the death trap. D'elroy, eager to get into Mary-Beth's good books, decides to stay with them. Niko, Dwayne, Alessa, Dakota, and Fortuna decide to go after Rhymes.

Dutch: Where's this damn vault?

John: f*ck this! Arthur, we getting out of here?

Arthur: With pleasure!

Javier: Cowards!

Dutch: Leave them, Javier. Those boys just don't got no faith. How about you, Mr McReary, Mr Yeager, Mr O'Callaghan?

Yeager: How do you know the name I go by is my last name?

Packie: How do you even know our names to begin with? And D'elroy weren't you staying back?

D'elroy: I gotta do it for Mary-Beth. I gotta show her I'm a real good detective.

Yeager: Good f*cking lord. Your romantic subplot is going to get you killed a second time.

D'elroy: Nearly killed, Yeager.

Yeager: I think you still got brain damage from the blue hell hole.

Dutch: Come on! Let's get to this vault and split. Where is it?

Yeager: Dammit, follow me and keep shooting.

----

Meanwhile outside, the Rhymes persuing group follow her down the alley, chasing her into the next building over which just happens to be a shopping mall under renovation.

Spoiler

Niko: I forgot its Christmas.

Fortuna: Watch her bullets!

Rhymes fired back as she ran through the mall, Jingle Bells ringing through the stereo system that the workers had forgotten to turn off for ambience reasons. Niko's group took turns firing as they ran, attempting several flanking maneuvers to try to corner Rhymes.

Rhymes: Stand back fools, I'll kill you!

Dwayne: Hand over the f*cking stone, Rhymes!

John and Arthur came running through, seeing no other thing to meaningfully do apart from retrieve the item that can bring them home. They as well tried firing their revolvers at Rhymes as she ducked between cover at the food court. Bullets disturbed the eery calm of this place, as did the yelling between Rhymes and her persuers. In that moment another party quite literally gatecrashed, through the security gate blocking off the front entrance to the mall.

Din: Get off me, idiot!

Vaire: Gimme the helmet!

Din: We've been flying for hours! You're not having it!

A stray bullet from Rhymes knocked the Mandalorian off balance, forcing him and Vaire to crash into the Cluckin' Bell store.

Alessa: Ho! Merry f*cking Christmas, flying man!

Dakota: Language!

One of Rhymes bullets hit the cover that Alessa and Dakota were ducking behind, forcing Dakota to recoil slightly.

Dakota: Shoot that f*cking bitch!

John: I think she's nearly out of ammo.

Niko: Portal stone, now!

Rhymes: I got ammo to spare!

Din finally got up, his helmet beeping violently as he got closer to Rhymes location. Soon the barrel of his blaster was pressed against his head.

Din: I'll be taking that.

Niko: Stay out of this, tinhead.

Din: Its beskar.

Rhymes: I don't have to do any of this. I just gotta imagine Avon and the stone will bring me right to him.

Another disturbance occurred, this time it was Everett who had located Vaire somehow. He drove a Sabre directly at Din through the mall.

Everett: I'll save you, Vaire!

The sabre revs up, but Din flies out of the way, just as Rhymes wish comes true and a portal appears before her. Her concentration breaks just as the car crashes through it. Everett soon found himself butting the bumper against the kitchen wall of Harold's penthouse in Las Venturas. Smoke and wall dust filled the air, wafting out of the portal as it closed. The entire trunk of Everett's car was left behind at the shopping mall. Vaire watched as his colleague yeeted himself accidentally across the entire country. Din went into hiding somewhere above to observe the scene, while Rhymes attempted to run off in the confusion.

Niko: Dammit, get after her again.

-------

Back at camp, more boring things were happening.

Uncle: I wonder how the bank robbing is going.

Hosea: I don't know. Best believe I'm going next time a big city bank is getting robbed. I'm not old enough yet to sit and wait while the rest get shot up.

Uncle: Well, what if you get shot?

Hosea: We're usually careful. I don't see myself getting seriously hurt on a job like that.

There's a bunch of things happening, who do we follow?

A] Niko and his group persuing Rhymes through the shopping mall while Din Djarin attempts to steal the stone for himself.

B] The Van Der Linde gang attempting to rob the bank, with Yeager, Dwayne and D'elroy trying to protect them.

C] Everett, who has wedged his car in Harold's penthouse thanks to portal magic.

D] Arcade and the "Exclave" planning their next move.

E] Commander Q and Delager, who have not anticipated the enemies they've encountered.

C] Everett, who has wedged his car in Harold's penthouse thanks to portal magic.

Harold minding his own business, running a business and doing a sh*t job at it, was making a call to a colleague of his about an attempt to take over Caligula's casino, knowing full well it'll piss off Yeager

(Harold) Hey I hear Frank Yeager is out of town, I've always wanted to take over that place

(Unknown) That's quite the idea Harold, I like it, but to get the best over on old Franky boy, you need to undermine his own colleagues and get the better of them, take them out of the equation, there's this EDEN war going around that could be beneficial to us

(Harold) And how could that be, I'm not familiar with whatever EDEN is

(Unknown) Don't worry your little head about it, that's my job, just run what you run and the job will get done

(Harold) That rhymes

(Unknown) It sure as hell does

Crash!!!!, interrupting the call just now was a weird portal with a car half coming out of it, the portal ends and the half-car just sits there with a man sitting in it

(Everett) What the hell just happened?

(Harold) I'll call you back

Harold ends the call to unknown and runs over to the half car crash where he sees a face he doesn't recognise

(Harold) Who are you?

(Everett) Does that really matter?

(Harold) Well... not really

Everett having no interest in dealing with the dime store looking hoodlum, walks off with a slight limp not caring about Harold or his life

(Harold) Hey wait, you look hurt, let me help

(Everett) Just taking a look at you, you don't look like you could help me, now sodd off

(Harold) Sodd off?

(Everett) Yep, Sodd off you bell end

(Harold) What does any of that mean?

Everett not having any of Harold crap, walks off out of the room leaving Harold puzzled, so he calls his Unknown contact back

(Unknown) Harold, what is up my dear boy, what was the problem?

(Harold) Well this guy with that weird accent crashes his half car into my penthouse, it's like a portal was involved, it's so confusing

(Unknown) Well then, did you catch his name?

(Harold) No, he blew me off and walked out gingerly, he was too pissed off to talk too

(Unknown) I'll have my men look into it, judging by the "portal" comment, it sounds... mythical

(Harold) Yeah, it's f*cking weird

(Unknown) Very... say what you were saying about Frank Yeager and the Caligula casino

(Harold) That we should take out his colleagues?

(Unknown) And?

(Harold) Something about you rhyming?

(Unknown) Allow me to reach out to someone I know who could help with this little casino takeover, Go to the outskirts of the city to meet someone I know, his name is... well he doesn't have a name, he just goes by Agent 15, he'll contact you where to go

(Harold) I know him, how do you know him?

(Unknown) He helped out with a city wide shut down when Liberty City was called New Olympus, lets say... I funded the whole thing

(Harold) Well Mr Love that sounds great, thank you

We leave this story breaking plot twist and follow who?

1) Everett making his way out of the casino, where he realises he's in Las Venturas

2) Niko and co chasing after Rhymes

3) Agent 15 receiving a phone call from Donald Love

4) The Van Der Linde gang robbing the bank

5) Din overlooking everything with the happenings with the Rhymes chase

4) The Van Der Linde gang robbing the bank

Underneath the bank floor where the big battle was raging, what was left of the Van Der Linde gang plus Yeager, D'elroy and Packie were attempting to rob the bank. Tensions in the vault entrance were rising as Bill was digging dynamite onto the steel door.

Dutch: You hurrying up there, Bill?

Bill: It's a big door, Dutch. It's gonna take a lot of explosives to bust through here.

Lenny: What the hell are we even trying to do here, Dutch? I thought we were going home?

Dutch: Mr Summers, there ain't no home except for the one we make out West. Or in Tahiti.

Sadie: There he goes on about Tahiti again.

Dutch: Mrs Adler we need money.

Packie, Yeager and D'elroy were meanwhile having their own conversation off to the side.

D'elroy: So uhh, what's the play here?

Yeager: Babysitting these guys. Like the top hat guy asked us to do.

D'elroy: I don't think that that extends to bank robbery. Aren't we supposed to be saving the world or some sh*t?

Yeager: I was asked to do this. By Niko. Ok?

Packie: Yeah I'll weigh in on that. When you got here you were hating Niko for disappearing for all this time.

Yeager: Maybe I changed my mind.

D'elroy: F*cking when? In between the big hole - one of which I nearly fell through - and blowing up half the Acter Industrial District? At what point did any of this become a good idea?

Yeager: Literally two minutes ago you were trying to "be a real good detective" for Mary-Beth. What happened to that?

Packie: Enough of this.

Yeager: And you, Packie. You said you weren't happy that Niko showed up with a world ending catastrophe and yet you've been all "yes sir Mr Bellic." And f*cking up too.

D'elroy: I think this entire operation is f*cking up, and you blame everyone but yourself.

Yeager: Shut your mouth, O'Callahan.

D'elroy: It's f*cking true though. Look at where we are.

Yeager went to hit D'elroy, but hesitated. He was right. He had organised a chaperone of a cowboy gang lost in time, on the orders of some mythical entity, just so they could rob a bank while the city was falling apart. Yeager turned to look at the Van Der Linde gang, all bandana-ed up placing old timey dynamite on a modern bank door while squabbling with themselves.

Packie: F*ck this crowd, Yeager. We gotta bail.

Yeager: *ahem* and what about your little crush on Mary-Beth?

D'elroy: She's not the one robbing the bank.

Packie: So I'm guessing we aren't leaving people behind?

D'elroy: We'll go back to "camp" or whatever, get the non-combatants, and get on one of the boats going out of the city.

Packie: That's not what I meant, D'elroy. I meant Niko and everyone else going after Rhymes.

Yeager: I uhh- I'm not sure about this.

D'elroy: No it's like what we were sayi-

Yeager: No these guys.

Shouting erupted from the Van Der Lindes as they raised revolvers up to each other. Sadie, Charles and Lenny on one side. Dutch, Javier and Bill on the other. Sean scurried around in the middle trying to calm them down.

Javier: How about you, Sean. You loyal to Dutch?

Sean: Loyalty? My boy, we can have loyalty and dosh too, I like both. But I also like my life.

Sadie: Pick a side, Sean.

Sean: Why? I know my side, I should have left with Arthur and John. At least them lads won't be pointing guns at me. Only the portal bitch.

Dutch: How about you gentlemen in the corner there? You all having a crisis of faith as well?

Sadie: Leave them out of this, Dutch. They're not your gang.

Dutch: Goddamn traitors!

Lenny: I wanna live, Dutch!

Sean: I wanna live too, boys. Us guys can make more money another day. But we're all loyal here, right?

Dutch: Who are you loyal to, Mr Macguire?

Sean: The gang. Brothers in arms!

Charles: If you feel that way, Sean. You're standing over here.

The standoff continues for a while. Each side staunch in their conviction, apart from Sean who was slowly backing away from the situation towards Yeager. Rapid footsteps were heading down the stairs into the vault room. Either Merryweather or quite literally any of the groups had won up there. Time was running out. Yeager then whispered to his group.

Yeager: Follow my lead.

Yeager quickly drew his gun and fired at the dynamite that Bill had placed on the door, exploding it behind Dutch's group and knocking Sadie's group off balance. Rapid fire and smoke filled the halls as everyone scurried for their goal. Sadie's group exchanged shots with Dutch's group as they retreated further into the now open vault, getting whatever money they could. Sadie's group then retreated up another flight of stairs in an attempt to escape. D'elroy grabbed Sean as Yeager's group retreated up another way.

Packie: What's up, Irishman?

Sean: Haha! I knew you liked me! You share that brotherly blood with me, lad!

D'elroy: You still believe in your gang?

Sean: Trying to. We going back for them?

Yeager: No we're going back for the other's. Them in there made their choice.

D'elroy: We're doing the third option.

Packie: I thought this was the fourth option following the previous writer.

Yeager: Dwayne would tell you to shut up about that.

Packie: Yeah I feel his fist on the back of my head.

Somehow, Yeager's group had made it to a side entrance, escaping out onto a street. Across the way they saw tanks barrelling around the corner attempting to fight with what's left of Rhyme's robots with MegaManny up in the sky still gunning down every Genome Soldier he can see. It truly was chaos in Chinatown. Yeager got his group into a Cavalcade he spotted that had only been touched when a Sabre traded paint with it earlier before crashing into the nearby shopping mall.

Sean: No offence, Patrick. But can your friend drive instead?

Packie: Oh don't even worry. It was like that when we found it.

Yeager: No. D'elroy you drive Packie and Sean over to camp. Be with your girl. I'm getting everyone else out. If it's the last goddamn thing I do.

D'elroy: Don't you f*cking die, Yeager. Bellic Enterprises won't recover.

Yeager: This sh*t was a deathwish to begin with, D'elroy. You were right. I gotta tell Niko. We lost. Save what we can and fight another day.

D'elroy takes off. This leaves Yeager running in the direction of yet another bus he can haul passengers into. He thinks to himself he could really use some more varied transportation for large groups of people.

Meanwhile,

A] No meanwhile, we stick with Yeager stealing a bus.

B] Niko's group finally corners Rhymes.

C] Everett is leaving the Strip Mafia Casino only to run into Avon.

D] Arcade's "Exclave" gets Intel that Avon was spotted at the casino.

E] Dutch, Javier and Bill come face to face with Commander Q and Delager in the vault.

A] No meanwhile, we stick with Yeager stealing a bus.

Yeager had an idea where a bus would be, Star Junction maybe, but that sh*t was overrun by clickers, stormtroopers and Genome folk that MEGAMANNY was fighting, cheat code?

(Yeager) Can't use a cheat code, ClaudeSpeeds rules say no cheat codes, it also says no paranormal sh*t too but that's been ignored for years, f*ck it, cheat code it is

He goes threw the list of GTA 4 cheat codes and sees there is no code for a bus, but there is for an APC tank

(Yeager) Umm... that's not gunna work

What cheat code does Yeager use???

1) Buzzard

2) Slamvan

3) FIB Buffalo

4) Full armor and health

5) Non, he decides to actually stop being lazy and goes to Star Junction and get a bus

 2) Slamvan

Yeager: Damn, am I really gonna do this?

Yeager lifted the phone and opened the keypad. Even for a hardened criminal it felt illegal, but he gave it a go. He typed the number he learnt from the internet at some point: 826-555-0100. The phone rang for a bit, and instead of a vehicle appearing from the nothing in front of him a man spoke.

Man: Ey who's this?

Yeager: Uhhh, I'm looking for a slamvan?

Man: Jesus Christ, I haven't got any f*cking time for this. You gotta be the 15th person calling my number.

Yeager: Who's this?

Man: Why would I tell you that?

Yeager: I don't know, I've met a lot of people and I guess it would be pretty funny if you were one of my enemies and I've just guessed your number.

Man: Enemy? Listen, whoever you are lose this number or you're gonna have an enemy for real.

The man hanged up on Yeager. The fact that the number actually led anywhere was a bit astounding for Yeager, but it didn't really help him with his goal. Across the road however was a piece of sheer f*cking irony. It was a little beat up, but there was a slamvan just sitting empty across the road. Yeager had to check himself seeing if the cheat actually worked but just put it down as coincidence. He ran over to the van and used his hot wiring method he had shown earlier to the Van Der Linde boys and made way back towards the bank, looking for any sign of where Niko ended up. Sure enough, the fighting had escaped the nearby shopping mall and spilled back out onto the street. A Mexican standoff was the scene with Vaire, Din and Arthur facing off. The portal stone in between all of them having fell from Rhymes grasp. She was currently being held back by Fortuna and John.

Din: You're looking a bit old, cowboy. You got what it takes?

Arthur: I ain't too old to shoot either of you fools if you don't stand down.

Vaire: I'll do my job, take you all down.

Din: You're in over your head. You got no backup.

Arthur: Nor do you, tinhead. And no means of escape either.

Vaire: Those guys back there, with the tanks? My guys. The stone belongs to the network. Alessa Carrington as well.

Din: And I got my jetpack.

Arthur: And I got my Schofield revolvers pointed right at the both of you.

Vaire: Stand down! Everyone comes quietly.

Din: I'm on an important mission here.

Arthur: I oughta shoot you fools right now!

Vaire: So f*cking do it then!

In a split second, Din decided to shoot neither and bolted directly for the portal stone on the floor, using his jetpack for extra speed. And once again the strange effect started happening for Vaire, but a familiar effect for Arthur. Time slowed and the world turned yellow as the two men marked in red their shots on Din as he flew through. Arthur made an extra shot on Vaire's hand for good measure and as time returned to normal speed, all the guns went off. Including the disarming shot on Vaire from Arthur. Din stumbled on the descent and Niko ran over to pin them down.

Vaire: God f*cking dammit! You're so fast!

Arthur: Too fast for you.

Arthur slipped a vial out of his satchel containing a strange brown liquid labelled "snake oil" and drank it; throwing the empty glass onto the ground next to him.

Arthur: Now come here boah.

John: What are we doing now? Going back for the others?

Arthur: Nah, we got the stone now. Got that rich man's wife as well. We got this government fool. We gotta leave.

Dwayne: And Sadie? Lenny? All your boys?

Arthur: They'll get out. If they know what's good for them.

Rhymes: You aren't getting away with this!

Fortuna: Niko we need a plan!

Niko: Sh*t. Far too much time was spent on this. Back to Bohan? Dukes?

Yeager pulled up in his Slamvan, almost a guardian angel sort of appearance in the groups time of need.

Yeager: You all need a ride?

Niko: Yeager? Where's the Van Der Lindes?

Yeager: It's some kind of civil war they got going on. We got Sean but I've lost the other guys.

John: Oh so they're going to be fine then?

Arthur: Don't put that on me. If Dutch wants to go kill himself in a bank he can be my guest.

Yeager: No. No. Get in the f*cking car, Arthur. I'm not dealing with another schism. You too, John.

John: But-

Yeager: But nothing! You got what you all wanted. Camp is leaving. We're all getting on a boat.

Niko looks to Fortuna and Dwayne, shrugging. Without any other plan - and knowing that they got what they came for - it was time to leave and regroup. Preferably not in a war zone. They all got into the back, carrying Vaire, Rhymes and Din into it. Yeager sped off to the docks, dodging all sorts of sh*t going on for which it would be far to in depth for how Yeager wants to get a move on. Upon arrival, they catch up with the rest of the gang boarding a large ship bound for further down the east coast, just at the jetty ramps. Miss Grimshaw and Pearson are seen carrying whatever the gang managed to scrounge up in the city on board. Hosea comes by to greet them, somewhat confused.

Hosea: What the hells going on? Where's Dutch?

Yeager: Your boss has lost his mind. Just ask Sean if you don't believe me.

Hosea: I can believe it, if that surprises you. But Sadie? Javier? Bill? Everyone else?

John: I'm with you on this one. We can't just leave them.

Abigail: You get your ass on this boat right now, John Marston!

John: It's family, Abigail!

D'elroy: Enough! We're all gonna die if we stay! It was f*cking stupid enough that we didn't immediately leave when the first hole appeared, but now there's zombies, pirates and who knows what else.

Vaire: And don't forget my guys.

Niko: Speaking of which, if we are leaving, how are we going to keep 3 hostages on a refugee ship?

Fortuna: Well you came on a boat. Maybe you have some kind of idea.

Niko: Not that kind of boat. We brought in heroin, diamonds and someone's car.

ArthurCan't we just throw them in the brig or something?

Hosea: Look at all these people. Chances are that's where you'll be staying anyways. Only place for you.

D'elroy: For us.

Hosea: No, I'm staying back.

Sean: Like hell you are, you old man. We just made this decision here tryna be heroes.

John: By being cowards.

Niko: I hate to say it, but we really can't do much else here.

Fortuna: We could find Rocco.

Niko: Rocco probably ran off on a boat as well.

Yeager: Yeah that, and I'm f*cking tired. We've been dodging zombies for days and all we have to show for it is a rock. What the hell are we gonna do with a rock in Liberty City?

D'elroy: It's a crazy idea, but we can use it?

Fortuna: Excuse me?

Niko: Sorry, D'elroy, but every time someone has tried to use one of these things it takes them to a f*cked up alternate universe.

D'elroy: MegaManny.

Niko: What about him?

Fortuna: Wait, he's on to something.

D'elroy: I am, and I would like the pleasure of giving the one two knockout here. You said he's got two portal stones jammed into his forearm.

Niko: Yeah, so?

D'elroy: So he knows how it works.

Niko stood back for a moment, thinking back to Manny's unwillingness to give one up earlier. Manny's an idiot, but not so much of an idiot to not understand how his super suit works.

Niko: Alright, so we get whoever is left of the Van Der Linde gang. Then go find Manny. Just flying around or something?

Fortuna: I suppose we could turn that computer back on and magnetise him over again. And I do have the tracker still on him.

Niko: Alright then, headcount. Who's coming.

John: I'm coming.

Abigail: Damn you, John! Come back to be a father to the boy if by some miracle you're living.

John: I got no choice!

Hosea: I'm coming with you.

Arthur: *sigh* So am I then.

Niko: Alright, let's go find your boys. Back in the van.

The two groups say their goodbyes to each other with the new plans. We make the choice to follow someone new:

A] Niko, Fortuna, Dwayne, Hosea, John and Arthur going to look for what's left of the Van Der Linde gang.

B] Yeager, D'elroy, Dakota, Alessa, Packie, Abigail, Jack, Tilly, Mary-Beth, Miss Grimshaw, Pearson, Swanson, Uncle, Karen, Lenny and Sean going on the boat to escape Liberty City.

C] Arcade's "Exclave"

D] Avon Hurtz

E] Everett

B] Yeager, D'elroy, Dakota, Alessa, Packie, Abigail, Jack, Tilly, Mary-Beth, Miss Grimshaw, Pearson, Swanson, Uncle, Karen, Lenny and Sean going on the boat to escape Liberty City.

As the... lets see... 16 escapees exit the Liberty harbour slowly head south, the core group of 5 all standing on the edge of the ship, question what is happening or where they're going?

(Packie) So... where we going?

(Yeager) Dunno, but by the looks of it, south

(Dekota) Probably Vice City

(Alessa) Or Cuba

(D'elroy) We could swing around Leonida and head to Texas or Mexico

(Unknown) I know where you are going

The Strange Man standing behind them suprises them all with this dodgy mysterious nature

(Packie) You again, what do you want?

(Strange Man) Nothing my dear boy, just to answer a few questions

(Yeager) Like the destination of this ship

(Strangey) Why yes, this ship is heading to the Louisiana to a small town called Rhodes, its where the old west people your looking after are currently stationed at, take them there with the webbed stones and they should return, but it'll only work with them all there, and I only counted half

(Yeager) Yeah they're back in Liberty

(Strangey) Well I hope they get them back, they certianly can't come by with a boat

(Packie) I'm sure Bellic Enterprises will figure out a solution

(Strangey) Well you better hope they do, otherwise more rifts will open up across the country and the Outer Worlds too

(Alessa) The Outer Worlds?

(Strangey) 2

(Packie) What the f*ck are you on about?

(Yeager) The little portal/rift problem we have, it's the exact plot of the Outer Worlds 2

(Packie) Is it really?

(Yeager) Yep

(Dekota) Is that on purpose or have the writers run out of ideas

(D'elroy) I'd say it's a giant coincidence

Is it a giant coincidence that this story and The Outer World 2 have the same plot???

1) Yes

2) No

3) Maybe

4) I don't know

5) Can you repeat the question?

1) Yes

Strange Man: I would say so. The writer has not yet finished the game.

Packie - in an effort to fulfil Dwayne's role - goes to hit him on the back of the head, but is met with a bup-bup-bup as the Strange Man raises a finger. He takes the moment to walk towards the railing and ominously look out towards the landmasses rising from the horizon. The waves continue lashing the starboard as the ship travels against the Atlantic currents.

Strange Man: I admit I have a penchant for the poetic but it clearly hasn't helped.

Yeager: So you have other answers then.

Strange Man: Yes. The ship may be going to Rhodes, but your group needs to continue on. You'll be going to Las Venturas.

Yeager: What's there?

D'elroy: It'll be Avon Hurtz.

Strange Man: Not just him. I've been doing my own research into what's been going on and it'll be worth clearing things up now. Avon is working with a man named Lester Crest.

Dakota: I mean, we could have guessed that.

Strange Man: Yes, but you couldn't have known for certain. Only that in a critical moment none of you could contact him. Question. Have any of you been able to contact a man named Mike Toreno?

Yeager: Well, I mean, we didn't try. But it tracks I suppose. Does that mean the IAA is involved as well?

Strange Man: If that's what you call Toreno's employ? Then yes. It seems to be a coordinated effort between Avon Hurtz and your government. Lester Crest was hired for his technical acumen, and Toreno was in charge of everything. He even hired an "Agent 14." It's rare for someone to be able to wipe their own name from existence like that. Else I would know it.

D'elroy: He'll be an enforcer of some kind.

Strange Man: The kind that is supposed to navigate the personality of someone like Avon. He seems to be the only one that needs enforcing; the rogue element. But Toreno and Crest needed his technology, so things naturally went as they did. Mr Crest for his own part has been unsuccessfully attempting to copy the technology in secret. In fact, the only success at that facility in the desert is that they've been able to keep their internal discontent from reaching the public's ears.

Yeager: Hold on? An internal discontent? You mean to say that this big governmental project is fai- wait, what the f*ck am I saying?

Packie: In retrospect, this should have been apparent to us already.

Yeager: Yeah well, I guess on the ground it seems that somebody is winning. What with those big holes in the ground ripping Liberty City apart.

The ship bears right towards what looks like a delta. A wide passageway reveals itself in the middle behind the fog. Dakota recognises where they are: it's the opening to the Lanehechee River. Soon the group will find themselves travelling towards New Hanover on the way to Lemoyne. The Strange Man's gaze turns from ominous to longing, like he too recognises something from his past.

Strange Man: It's been a few years. I hope the urban sprawl hasn't.. Well. Anyways. Yes the government is failing to keep its project together. Some of your hostages belong to a group called "The Network."

D'elroy: That would be Milner's group.

Strange Man: Lucky for you it seems they weren't invited to the party. They preferred a military solution. But unofficially there was an effort to procure something called EDEN before the government could. Presumably this would be a bargaining chip so they could get portal technology for themselves.

Dakota: I knew Everett's appearance wasn't a coincidence. What about Cipher?

Strange Man: They have an agent embedded in Area 69, but beyond that it's just a spying operation. I can't find any evidence of official involvement.

Packie: Hey D'elroy, you taking notes? This guy sounds like more of a detective than you!

D'elroy: Calm down, I still gotta look through those hard drives.

Strange Man: I would advise you do that quickly, because I cannot find Avon.

Alessa: Come on. You're gonna tell us now your powers are limited?

Strange Man: I can't make it too easy. But you have an ace up your sleeve as well. Niko - being the cunning man that he is - set it all up without him even noticing. Your friends in the West Coast? They're in Las Venturas now, searching for Avon and a way into Area 69. They also have a means to curing the clicker disease - which by the way you all seem to have forgotten about.

Yeager: It was a lesser priority.

Strange Man: Well, nonetheless, you have potential solutions to two of your problems. The only difficulty is your one portal stone is stuck in Liberty City. MegaManny has two but refuses to give them up. Unless you can find Avon's portal stone in Las Venturas or somehow get the one from Area 69, you had best get the rest of your army to Las Venturas.

D'elroy: I told you it was the right thing to do.

Strange Man: Yes, but you do still have to send *all* of the Van Der Linde gang home.

Yeager: Sorry to burst your bubble, tophat, but two of them are dead.

Strange Man: You should be more thankful for your world's healthcare system. By now they should be living.

Dakota: Damn. That's true.

Strange Man: Anyways, Las Venturas is your real destination. A woman named Arcade will be your ally, just as she is now an ally to Chester Crest. Look for them in Creek.

The group continue looking out to sea as the ship heads towards the delta. Meanwhile, the focus is now on Niko's group in Liberty City. Where are they?

A] The Bank Of Liberty.

B] D'ante's Inferno.

C] The Bleeter Building.

D] The Abandoned Casino.

E] Castle Gardens.

E] Castle Gardens.

Well this is interesting, the group of Niko, Fortuna, Dwayne, Arthur, Hosea, John, Dutch, Bill, Javier and Sadie have successfully robbed the bank of Liberty and made their way to Playboys secret base of operations where they need to get MEGAMANNY back, so they use fancy magnet to attract MEGAMANNY

(Dutch) So how does this work?

(Fortuna) Simple, turn this on and Manny will come flying

(Niko) MegaManny

(Fortuna) Also I wanna thank you boys for helping get the computer system over here

(Bill) It was a bastard to carry but you're welcome

(Dwayne) We caught Rhymes yeah, where is she?

(Niko) No clue

(Fortuna) Kidnapped in the back of the Slamvan

(John) Told me to leave her there, just worried someone finds her and kidnaps her as well

(Niko) That's great and all but we need Manny, Tuna, turn on the magnet on

(Fortuna) Will do

Fortuna does just that and they wait for Manny to be flung

Does Manny get flung???

1) Yes

2) No

Or

3) We cut to Avon running into Everett

4) Cut to Team Chester

5) Cut to the Slamvan where Rhymes is
