First off let me tell you all something.I HAVE HEARD OF PEOPLE.SO IGNORANT.THEY SAY "DUR DUR DUR WE ARE THE ONLY SOLAR SYSTEM IN THE GALAXY DUR DUR DUR" Well when I hear that I always get mad.WHY?!Because they do not have a clue how the universe works.Neither do I.BUT THERES MILLIONS AND BILLIONS OF STARS!!!So there has to be life.And also.

 

What about Roswell?!Something did crash there...AND A WEATHER BALLOON!!?!Seriously?What a nice excuse.But did they ever think someone on TV would recover materials from the crash.Everyone give me your opinion on this topic

I will say what I have said time and time again: We cannot say whether or not life exists, merely that it has had, or will have had potential to evolve from simpler compounds (and not necessarily ones that form life on Earth). The very fact that there are billions of stars and the universe will exist for billions of years makes it nigh-impossible to ascertain anything about the nature of extraterrestrial life. Basically, you can't say that it exists or doesn't exist, just because it ought to or ought not to. And don't you quote the Drake Equation at me, because even if it's in some way correct, it's baseless if we can't actually confirm the facts.

 

Oh, and Roswell was Fry's fault.

Isn't a solar system simply a system in which planets revolve around a star?

 

I'm no astrologist, but I'm pretty sure that we aren't. I'm not even saying that sarcastically, I AM a bit unsure, buuuuuuuut I'm pretty sure.....

Technically we are the only Solar System, because Sol is the name of the star we circle. Sure, there's no other stars that we named 'Sol' but that doesn't mean there isn't any other Satellite Systems out there (in other words a system in space that orbits around one to three stars.

 

In honest conjunction, it's incredibly ignorant to think there isn't any other light form in the Universe. I'm sure many biased people gained their taboo against Extra Terrestrial life due to popular culture I.E. sh*tty movies, crazy assholes, crazy assholes that are on television etc.

We know of one planet that has life. and There are an infinate number of star systems with planets in the known galaxy.

If you divide one into infinite the answer is easily rounded to zero.

So that proves there is No life in the universe.
