Disable shaders from hook?

I was thinking of porting a mod for legitimate EFLC users that allows to play on legacy and low-end hardware. I'm wondering if we can disable shaders from the latest SDK and hook for C++? I didn't see anything in either of the header files for rendering or shaders. Anyone know if it can be done without modded config files and scripts?

tell me what this for maybe could help on fps?

It disables the new shader rendering, and reduces reflection maps and strips normals and some other stuff. It can't be done from the hook without heavy modifications. It can be with SparkIV.

 

It renders like SA then, but you can play at high res on legacy hardware. The person who did it before used the hook for one part but published it based on the patched hook for cracked version. It's a really good mod IMO.

can you upload files i would love playing with high res with no lag just wanna see how it looks please upload.

just want reflections still but want rest shaders disabled.

I haven't finished it. It require changing some values with SparIV for most of the content. I also can't find the original mod download to compare, just trial and error right now.

 

EDIT: visualsettings.dat and the 3 playerped.rtf files are where you do everything, but there is only 1 playerped.rtf in IV. I'm in EFLC. Either way you have to go through and disable shaders for stuff in playerped.rtf files, there are hundreds...
