Removing SA Cities

Is there a way to do that?

To remove all the cities in the game, But to leave LA active, with the car paths and all that?

I tried using map cleaner, And leaving the objects

But it removed all of the cities, I just had the IDE's

So i changed the gta.dat and activated the IPL's

But the game crashed at loading...

I tried to do that with SF for 2 months. And the result was an unestable map.

 

Sure, I got (part of) SF ingame only, but also alot of colision errors (I will never know why) and random crashes.

 

So no, there is no way you can do that in a easy way. Forget it.

 

Besides you have to remove all the unused DFF/TXD's because SA won't like that.

The best way to do this, bug free, would be to actually import wach IPL and Binary IPL from LS in diferent MAX files.

 

And re-export the whole thing using KAM scripts, this way you make sure you dont have any "broken links" between LOD's and other objects. This way you could even solve thouse weird colision bugs I mentioned.

 

But again, it would be really time consuming. Not worth it.
