Royal55
The style of the buildings and the lighting sort of reminds me of that fake screenshot of GTAIV that was lurking around the web. Here.

You just stole my words. look at the details at about the five second mark, look at the stop light turn from red to green, in the old days they had that little handle attached to the stop light to tell you to stop or go, really awesome facial expressions, this is what i call detail and the lighting and all is nice. 29 seconds wrinkles on the face, omg, damn. Midnight Manhunt, pretty cool. 1945 real movie. Edited November 11, 2010 by Hurrikane
jnzooger
The textures, and everything just besides the character models seam...... moderate. But the facial animations! OMFG!!!! Yeah, the facial animations use the same tech used in "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button" for when Brad Pitt was playing the 70 and 80 year old him. They used a body double and but his acting on the head. Did anyone recognize the progress between GTA IV, RDR and LA Noire? It seems like R* wants to save the best for last. *sigh* Rockstar DID NOT make LA Noire. Team Bondi did. There is no evolution from RDR to LA Noire. Hell, LA Noire doesn't even use RAGE. Capricornus
I went into this not expecting anything GTA related, and my expectations were right. Anyway, L.A Noire looks f*cking sweet. Look forward to getting it.

Hurrikane
very good articl from April 2010, i didn't even know it existed, really good stuff. Talk about driving to a location and seeing a carjaking and robberies but they continue on in their mission. 2,200 pages of script wow thats insane, its two years worth of tv episodes, lol. Seems like the game will take many twists and turns and it will be fun to interogate people. Wonder whats going to happen you cause mayhem, being a cop and all. should be interesting how they go about this, Article below http://www.next-gen.biz/features/open-worl...ential-la-noire

Niko_Vercetti7
The facial animation is a force to be reckoned with. If it took L.A. Noire this long to achieve graphics this good then just imagine how good V's graphics are going to be.

(http://www.rockstarbase.com/2010/02/15/new...s-not-use-rage/) It's naive to think th at Rockstar hasn't been in over the development in one way or another. there's a difference between publisher and developer. Rockstar Games is publishing the game, while Team Bondi is developing it. Rockstar Games has say in story a lot of the times but it's the developer that does the rest. Rockstar North did GTA IV and Rockstar San Diego + Rockstar North did Red Dead Redemption. Rockstar San Diego was the one that built the R.A.G.E. engine, first used in their game Table Tennis. I don't really see it as an evolution as all Red Dead Redemption is is GTA gameplay in a very different setting. If anything, Rockstar North's own Agent will give us a hint at what GTA V will be like. San Andreas incorporated a few things from Manhunt - such as stealth missions.
