Spike VGA announcement

Anyone think GTA V might get announced at the Spike Video Game Awards? If I remember correctly, The Lost and Damned's premier trailer was shown there (though it was announced in mid November 2008). Im not sure of the exact date for the 2010 VGAs but its probably somewhere around December 10-14th.

 

Also Geoff Keighley said the lineup of announcements this year is going to be the biggest ever. In my opinion just announcing V could be huge. Though he could obviously be just hyping it up http://twitter.com/#!/geoffkeighley/

I remember last year where everyone kept yelling about GTA V being announced in that Spike TV VGA due to some "big opening." But it turned out to be a Batman game.

Lets hope this year's VGA has something worthwhile.

It's not Rockstar's style to announce Grand Theft Auto in such an event. Grand Theft Auto is a special case that needs Rockstar's own treatment in their own camp not in a public camp.

GTA V will be announced next year @ E3 2011, first they have to show L.A. Noire or Max Payne 3.

Agent is a PS3 Exclusive so I think they will announce it @ E3 2011 Sony Press Conference.

We haven't seen anything of Agent so far. In fact I think it's still in production while LA Noire and MP3 are as good as finished. But sure a teaser trailer would be nice.

I think many people would agree with that statement, and I'm one of them. But as it's been said R* isn't well known for doing things like that. Perhaps we'll be luck enough to hear some L.A. Noire news or even the top secret Agent.

 

Edit: By the way, does anyone know when the award show is going to be??

The one thing I don't understand- What makes you guys think R* is going to sh*t in it's 360 users' faces by focusing completely on PS3 and releasing nothing for 360? Something about that seems a little irrational to me. I mean, as much as we all hope, I can't honestly say I think V will be announced at the VGA's, but saying that GTA is getting the temporary boot to make way for a PS3 exclusive, that just doesn't make sense. f*ck Agent.

This might surprise you, but R* is no stranger to exclusivity/temporary exclusivity.

Specially since L.A. Noire was a PS3 exclusive and Agent is still a PS3 exlcusive.

 

Then again, in the video game world "exclusive" most of the time means "timed exclusive".

True, but EFLC was the first time they ever did the whole exclusivity thing. Unless of course you count the games being out for PS2 before they were out for Xbox.

Rockstar has for a long time "owned" sony an exclusive, It started out as a zombie game, but that got canceled because at the time the market was filled whit them, then it became RDR, witch then later became multi platform. Then LA Noire, witch then later became multi platform too. And now Agent, and who knows anything about that.....

Company's sometime announce there game's at VGA Not to mention The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim which was announced at VGA. So why not GTA At this years VGA.... Just Noticed i did half of the title in caps
