Atomic-flood
Hiya Guys. Right, im not sure weather this is the right place to post this topic, but I couldn't fine anywhere else that was appropriate. I want to build a gaming computer that is good on specs so it would run GTA IV well with mods for a budget of about £600. Can anyone tell me their views on what system parts I should include E.G AMD Phenom X6 for CPU or ATI Radeon for GPU. Any thoughts would be much appreciated. Thanks, Will

yoječ
Well, I'd build a bit different PC for that price. £108,38 AMD Phenom II X4 955 Black Edition Socket AM3 3.2 GHz 8MB L3 Cache http://www.ebuyer.com/product/190673 £195,99 XFX HD 6870 1GB GDDR5 http://www.ebuyer.com/product/244474 £86,30 Gigabyte GA-790XT-USB3 http://www.ebuyer.com/product/196392 £32,34 Hitachi Deskstar 500GB http://www.ebuyer.com/product/191819 £59,93 Corsair 4GB (2x2GB) DDR3 1333MHz http://www.ebuyer.com/product/178943 £57,42 OCZ 500W Mod XStream Pro http://www.ebuyer.com/product/152009 £14,99 LG GH22LS50 http://www.ebuyer.com/product/190671 £38,99 Coolermaster Elite 430 http://www.ebuyer.com/product/233740 = £594,34 Somewhat worse CPU, but also much, MUCH better GPU. Rest of components remained more or less the same. Or you can stick with the i5, just do not buy all these fans (why would you want so many fans in a case anyway? that is pointless), change mobo to Gigabyte GA-P55-USB3, and then get yourself a GTX460 1GB. If I could stretch just that little bit more money do you think I should get: AMD Phenom II X6 3.2Ghz and NZXT Classic Series M59 Midtower ATX ( 5 cooling fans, Black ) - Case I really like the case, think it is awsome Will
yoječ
Nah, there is no point in buying Phenom x6 for a gaming rig. If you really want to spend some more money then get i5-760. That NZXT case seems fine.

That NZXT case seems fine. Why not? I have an AMD Phenom II X6 in my gaming computer. It works great, it's future proof and it's absolutely awesome for the price. viometrix
the amd x6 kills the amd x4 for pennies more... it would be stupid not to. but in my opinion warlords build is the best, and like myself he knows his stuff very well. id help but my builds cost way too much, look at my system lol.
