Exkabewbikadid
I sure hope AMD can compete with Bulldozer because they just took a serious blow from SB and it's stunning performance to price ratio. We absolutely need a competitive market to keep prices sane. However, seeing how my Q6600 system croaked 6 weeks ago, I'm about to go bleeding edge for the first time in a long time and snag a 2600K as soon as newegg stocks them. The thrill of building a new system awaits..
Ryan
So LGA 1155 replaces the existing LGA 1156, but what replaces LGA 1366?

yoječ
LGA1366 will be replaced with LGA1356 and LGA2011, the first being used for high-end home PCs and lower end servers, the other one being solely for servers. I must say that these new CPUs are priced really nicely. 2500k is not really that much more expensive form i5-760 (at least in Poland), I thought they would cost an arm and a leg. If i3 also gets a nice price tag, then AMD will be in quite trouble until Bulldozer arrives.
Quadropheniac90
I'm ordering the 2600K in 2 weeks as part of my new system, it's gonna be awesome. The benchmarks were pretty nice considering the price of the new Sandy Bridge processors.
Stinky12
What I find stupid is only the "K" version gets the better graphic card (HD3000) as oppose to the non K models. People who buys K versions will most likely use a discrete graphic card.
