Real stream radio in GTA SA

my question is: is it possible to listen at my favorite real radio channel.

 

i have a stream url of the radio (.asx and .pls) is it possible to play the stream in my user track player, so if I'm in a car and listen to user track player that i hear my favorite real radio channel and when i get out i hear nothing???

This is something I've been wondering for a while too, and I know you can use winamp or something like that while the game is running but you cant have it stop when exiting a vehicle and starting again when you get back in. So either SA needs to control winamp, ie F to get out of car also is stop on winamp but better still would be a hook to allow asx streams to be picked up by user tracks.

But can someone please make a mod for me that allows the user track player to play .asx streams when you get in the car and it stops when you get out of the car. But if you're in a car it's live and not recorded! If it is possible can someone make then a sort patch mod for me??? i would be very happy

The only way you can get real life radiostations in the game, is to use an Audio Recorder(Freecorder is completly Free and works great for this), and record a real-life radiostation(s) and then using that .mp3 file in the game. It even says in the manual that comes with the game, if you have a legit version anyway, that live feeds are not supported by the game. So, the only way to use radiostations from real-life in the game is to record them from the internet radio(there are A LOT of stations streaming on-line-pretty much every station in this area does), and that is how I use real-life radiostations in-game via the User Tracks Station, and it works great. Just a heads up.

You can also add the game to Steam as a Non-Steam game. While in the game press shift+tab and open up web browser. In the web browser open up your favourite radio station's homepage and listen from there! (Works for me)
