GTA 4 Complete Edition PC

First of all, sorry for my english.

 

I'm planning to buy the GTA 4 Complete Edition for the PC. However, I just want to play multiplayer, and I heard that people didnt like that very much. I however, like the multiplayer I see on youtube and it looks fun to me.

Are there many players at the PC version of ballad of gay tony, gta 4 and lost and damned? Or just a small number of people? Because I want to buy this complete edition just for multiplayer.

 

And another question about the PC version multiplayer:

Will multiplayer require more cpu or gpu % then singleplayer? I have an intel quadcore Q6600 2,4 ghz and a nvidia 8800gt 512 mb.

Firstly, I would recommend you buy the game - it is the best I have ever played IMHO.

 

Multiplayer is great, and there is still a healthy crowd on the PC.

 

I'm not sure about the specific stresses MP puts on CPU/GPU, but I had a similar spec to you on my previous computer, and mine ran smoothly with Medium textures. You probably won't be able to set it on High though. Medium still looks nice though.

 

A question for you - is the complete edition available for the PC? Because I have heard about it but only for the Xbox and PS3.

 

The orginal IV is much better for multiplayer IMO - there are more people on it, and more modes to choose from. However, I'd recommend you do SP as well - all three plots are great, and the gameplay is fanstastic.

Just checked the above site in the UK - I can't believe they'd get this wrong across two countries. Strange, I haven't heard any official annoucement about it (maybe I haven't been listening!)

FWIW, a big dutch tech site, tweakers.net, asked R* about it and

they were told this PC pack is for europe only. I guess this has

something to do with the german PC market which is huge compared

to the console market.

Yes, if there are 3 people in game(for example), 2 of them can vote to kick the third...and he gets kicked. Real life example: im crusing around waiting for people to join my freemode. 2 people join and try to kick me out. Unfortunately for them i understand their language and make precautions

 

 

 

Most people play TBoGT and GTA 4, but there still are some who play TLaD.

 

In my opinion, GTA 4 and TLaD have best multiplayer modes...TBoGT doesn't really bring any new modes in, meaning its just standard Deathmatch, Team deathmatch, race, gta race, and free mode.

 

 

 

 

 

Anyway, you can still find good people to play with, just that its a bit harder than it was before.

 

 

 

EDIT: Well, multiplayer can be more taxing on CPU and GPU when there are more players. 2 or 3 people, its no different than single player. but when you get into a server with 10 and more people, its noticeable.
