LOGGYTHEMAN Posted November 1, 2010 Share Posted November 1, 2010 G'day I thought adding a Vice City radio station to The Ballad Of Gay Tony was a pretty good idea. Considering, Vice had great music. Liberty City with Vice tunes was a brilliant idea that R* came up with. Will V provide us with the same thing. I'm not getting my hopes with for VC to be the next GTA. SA with Liberty city (IV) music stations. Or Vice with SA or Liberty stations. I was also thinking, if they do make the next GTA in Vice. Will it still have Weasel News and all the same channels? In my option, I think they should have a Liberty City station and a Vice city station. With two different channels. Sort of like cable/foxtel, you can search through different channels with a remote. SirPsychoSexy Posted November 1, 2010 Share Posted November 1, 2010 I have the DLC and not the disc-version, so I don't know about VC FM, but I think that on pretty much every original station the DJs all at some point say "How are you doing Liberty City?" or something similar. When it comes to Weazel News it could just be Weazel News VC if the next game was set in VC. It would be fun though if there was a national and maybe even an international news station/channel that covered LC, VC, San An, Carcer, Capitol etc. and maybe important events around the world. Yeah, VCFM is definitely broadcasting from LC and not VC (Fernando mentions things like "Good morning Liberty City" or "When I was a DJ in Vice City..."). As far as TV goes, I could see a national version of Weazel News (kinda like its real-life counterpart, Fox News) after getting far enough into the game where we can get a "cable package" on the TV that includes more channels. Ash_735 Posted November 4, 2010 Share Posted November 4, 2010 VCFM is broadcasting from Liberty City, it's just n 80's Radio Station, I assume it was called Vice City FM because that's what most GTA players will think of when the 80s is mentioned. As for the actual music, a lot of it had that adult contemporary feel which new York played a lot in the 1980's, so ironically, the music on Vice City FM is more akin to music being played on radios in New York during the 80's, which in a sense fits in more with Liberty City. Really, please don't just bumb you treads in the future, when topics don't get "picked up" it's usually because they are no longer of any interest , that was the case of this topic and many many other ones, actually any topic that hasn't got locked.
