SirPsychoSexy
Where are you from? Maybe you can use Spotify?
Magic_Al
Vice City FM plays the original version of "Teardrops" from the 1988 Womack & Womack CD "Conscience". It doesn't seem to be sold digitally so buying that CD may be the only legal route.
Ufermalosu
thanks. i checked on their greatest hits CD (since its the only one on itunes that had the song) and it was the lame version. i can understand having a dance mix for a song but why not just put original things on greatest hits compilations? makes no sense. im in the USA. what is spotify? can you purchase single MP3s? edit: sorry for being pissed off earlier i have had a horrible toothache for the past 3 days and my previous topic got closed before i had a chance to edit it. SirPsychoSexy
Now I'm going to sound like I'm an employe promoting Spotify... Spotify is an online music tool, you pretty much search any song and you can listen to it, streamed directly. There's a free version which contains commercial, and one you pay for where you don't get any commercial and can download the music you listen to. And it's not piracy, it's totally legit. Currently though, it's only available in Sweden, Spain, Norway, Finland, France, the UK, and the Netherlands. But it's supposed to be available in the US before the end of this year, so I'd look for it if I were you. Sorry for promoting this, I'm just a regular Spotify user, and it really is absolutely fantastic. I bet you can find at least almost every song on VC FM there. For free. Stinky12
I've heard that if you signed up with Windows Live and set a e-mail with R*. Every time when you hear a music and called Zit, Zit will give you the name of the artist and title of the song. The Artist and Title of song is actually sent to your real e-mail where it provides a link so you can actually buy the tune. This may not contain all of their songs http://www.amazon.com/Music-Grand-Theft-Au...t/dp/B001897366 Following a partnership between Rockstar Games and Amazon.com, players are able to purchase real world MP3s through GTA IV's in-game mobile phone.[51] Players are able to mark radio songs that they like by dialing ZIT-555-0100 on Niko's phone. They will then receive a text message providing the name of the song and the artist. If a player is registered on Rockstar's 'Social Club' website he or she will also receive a real world e-mail with a link to an Amazon.com playlist where all of the player's marked songs will be listed and available to purchase.[52] Edited November 1, 2010 by Stinky12
Magic_Al
The full Amazon GTA music store is here but was only current for the original GTA IV soundtrack. For TLAD Rockstar switched to iTunes. For TBOGT, they didn't create a soundtrack store, so ZiT or the music credits in the manual are your best bet. Even then you won't find every single song for sale online. Some songs in some GTA games are so obscure they're only on vinyl or mixtapes.
Ufermalosu
how exactly would i do that? i went to R*'s site what now? i signed up for the R* social club and linked my PSN does it HAVE to be a windows live e-mail or can it be yahoo? edit: i found the song i was looking for. even found Misfit (which is one of the best songs on Vice City FM) thanks all for the help. R* social club is about as useful as a pecker flavored lollipop in helping you find tracks that THEY put in the game lol.
