Just because of the promotion of a new GTA title is this very unrealistic. The games were usually released within 1-1,5 years after an official first announcement. So keep up waiting. R* North is developing GTA and they looked for some new employees (11-12 I think) not long time ago, so I think the latest time for an announcement would be March 2011. A new GTA by Christmas? You got to be kidding me. Games usually needs at least 6 months of marketing and advertising. When it comes to GTA it can take more than a year between when the game is first annaunced and released. You probably remember that from GTA IV. If you have Favouriite games, you will just keep playing them. Many people do, and many other dosn't. Buit that dosn't mean the game is not fresh anymore. Snake Without a Tongue Posted November 2, 2010 Share Posted November 2, 2010 I'm genuinely burned out on GTAIV. When I find myself trying really hard to get max scores I know I'm scraping the bottom. RDR still has incredible replay value for me. Even with DLC I intend on replaying the main storyline in a little while. I hope the next GTA is like that. But back on topic, I think we should all give up on expecting news for awhile. That stupid gay article about the setting being Hollywood got us worked up for nothing. True, the single player can get quite old but after having put the game down for some time it feels great to get back into it. Plus, I still have a lot of side missions (FBI wanted list, cars for Brucie, etc.) to do so it keeps me busy in Liberty City. and the multiplayer is still fun as sh*t for me. They are making Agent at the moment (north is) and san diego is making another RDR. So it's gonna be a while, and i doubt it will be a new era, it will be like vice city is to GTA 3...it is all part of the series, sure they released DLC's, but they don't count for much. GTA IV had little replay value for me, a lot of fun factor was taken out when all the little side missions disappeared,cops were on youyr ass for every tiny crime even if they weren't around, cars were slower, so basically there was nothin left...i have gone back to playing san andreas, i have yet to own RDR however, everyone finds it awesome so i might buy it.
